Discord Within Mahayuti Ahead Of Elections?

On Monday, questions were raised on the apparent discord within the Mahayuti. During his visits to Ganpati Mandals, Amit Shah was accompanied by CM Eknath Shinde and Dy CM Devendra Fadnavis. However, Deputy CM and NCP chief Ajit Pawar was not seen. The tensions within Mahayuti are visible lately after comments from Shiv Sena ministers on Ajit Pawar.

Amit Shah’s visit to Maharashtra is not limited to take darshan of Lord Ganesha. The Home Minister had lined up three back-to-back meetings with BJP state unit leaders, a separate meeting with CM Eknath Shinde and Deputy CM Ajit Pawar.

The meetings assume utmost significance in view of the charged atmosphere in the state political circle that is witnessing most volatile moments in the last few days with controversies over running the government.

Mumbai, 16 September 2024

Known for his notorious statements and unruly behaviour, Buldhana MLA Sanjay Gaikwad has once again shown his true colours by announcing a reward of Rs 11 lakh for anyone who cuts off the tongue of the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi. Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee President Nana Patole has given a stern warning that the government should take serious note of this statement by this criminal-minded MLA, and a case must be filed against him. Patole further said that and he should be reined in or else Congress workers know how to deal such goons.

Speaking on the matter, Congress state president Nana Patole said that seeing the increasing popularity of Rahul Gandhi, the ground is slipping beneath the feet of the BJP and its allies. As a result, the frustrated and desperate ruling party is twisting Rahul Gandhi’s statements and running a smear campaign against him. Rahul Gandhi never said that he would end reservations. On the contrary, he stated that the 50% limit on reservations should be removed to address the pending issues of communities seeking reservations. However, the BJP and their agents are continuously spreading rumours and trying to create a fake narrative. BJP’s goons and their allies are even going to the extent of issuing death threats. The government is taking no action against these thugs, leaving the public to wonder whether the rule of law prevails in the country or BJP’s hooligans.

Do people like Sanjay Gaikwad even know what Rahul Gandhi said in America? Rahul Gandhi is not afraid of Modi and Shah, so he certainly won’t be intimidated by the threats of local criminals like Sanjay Gaikwad. Millions of Congress workers across Maharashtra and the entire country, including us, are ready to stand as a shield to protect him. Don’t even think about trying to harm him in any way, no one can even touch his hair, warned the Congress state president.
