Mumbai: The death of Hazrat Maulana Ghulam Mohammad Vastanvi, who was always concerned for the welfare of the Muslim Ummah and set a major milestone in the field of education, is a great tragedy. The pain of which will be felt by every member of the Muslim Ummah.
Paying tribute to this sad demise, Member of Assembly Abu Asim Azmi said that he was a modern scholar and thinker of the ancient style. He presented a moderate and successful combination of ancient and modern sciences before the nation and single-handedly did what many organizations and associations could not have done together. Perhaps this was a blessing in continuing individual efforts with sincerity and a mission instead of trying to become a leader through manipulation politics.
May Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala forgive Maulana, raise his ranks and grant patience to his family, the underprivileged, his students and the wise, Amen.
