Ajay Devgn, Sidharth Malhotra’s ‘Thank God’ to release in July next year

Ajay Devgn, Sidharth Malhotra and Rakul Preet Singh-starrer ‘Thank God’ is all set to release next year.

The movie will see Nora Fatehi in a special appearance and Sri Lankan singer Yohani will be making her Bollywood debut as a singer in this movie. It is a slice-of-life comedy.

Director Indra Kumar is known for popular ’90s films like ‘Dil’, ‘Beta’, ‘Ishq’, ‘Raja’ and others. He is also known for ‘Total Dhaamal’ in 2019, which also featured Ajay Devgn with others. Now he is working with Sidharth Malhotra and Rakul Preet Singh too for this movie.

‘Thank God’ is written and directed by Indra Kumar. A T-Series and Maruti International production, the movie is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Ashok Thakeria, Sunir Kheterpal, Deepak Mukut, Anand Pandit and Markand Adhikari and co-produced by Yash Shah.

The film is set to release on July 29, 2022.

Kangana Ranaut ‘Hopes’ PM Modi Watched Tejas As He Takes Sortie On Fighter Jet In Bengaluru

On November 25, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took a sortie on a Tejas fighter jet, who is currently on a visit to defence public sector undertaking Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) in Bengaluru.

Sharing the experience, Modi tweeted, “Successfully completed a sortie on the Tejas. The experience was incredibly enriching, significantly bolstering my confidence in our country’s indigenous capabilities, and leaving me with a renewed sense of pride and optimism about our national potential.”

Reacting to this, Kangana, who has starred in Tejas recently, ‘hoped’ that PM Modi has watched her film. She wrote, “We hope honourable Prime Minister @narendramodi ji saw our film #Tejas dedicated to made in Bharat fighter jet Tejas and our Indian Air Force. Those of you who missed it in the theatres, soon it will be available on @ZEE5India and @SonyLIV. Jai Hind.”

In Tejas, Ranaut played the lead role of IAF officer Tejas Gill, who is on a mission to rescue an Indian spy alongside Anshul Chauhan and Varun Mitra. Released in October 2023, the film did not do well at the box office.

On the work front, she was also seen in the Tamil comedy-horror sequel Chandramukhi 2, in which Kangana played the role of a dancer.

Next, the actress will be reuniting with her Tanu Weds Manu co-star, R. Madhavan for an untitled project. She also has her second directorial project, Emergency.

Animal Advance Bookings Open: Most Expensive Ticket Of Ranbir Kapoor-Starrer In Mumbai Costs THIS Whopping Amount

After months of anticipation and hype, the makers finally dropped the trailer of the upcoming film Animal on December 23, and with that, the masses have only grown even more impatient to witness the story unfold on the silver screens. And much to the delight of fans, the makers have now opened the advance bookings for Animal.

Ticket windows and websites are having a busy time ever since the advance bookings opened for Animal with people making sure to get their hands on the passes to watch the film on the big screen. The excitement for the film is quite palpable throughout the country, and specifically in Mumbai, where people seem to be ready to shell out thousands to just get one ticket of the film.

All the major theatres of Mumbai have started the pre-booking for Animal and the most expensive show of the film in the city is almost houseful!

The costliest ticket of Animal in Mumbai is worth a whopping Rs 2,200 and it is for the 11:30 pm show at INOX: Maison Jio World Plaza, Bandra-Kurla Complex. As per a ticket booking website, the show is already marked as “filling fast”.

Most of the shows throughout the city have been priced in the Rs 200 to Rs 600 range and the websites have been witnessing heavy traffic for Animal. Shows in the range of Rs 1,500 to Rs 2000 are also almost sold out.

Animal promises to show Ranbir in a never-seen-before avatar and if the trailer is to go by, it will find its name in the list of the most violent and gory films made in Bollywood.

Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the film also stars Rashmika Mandanna as Ranbir’s wife, and Anil Kapoor as his father. Apart from Ranbir, if there is one person in the film who has left the audience intrigued, then it’s Bobby Deol, who will be seen playing a menacing antagonist. The film is set to hit the silver screens on December 1.

Rishab Shetty Announces Kantara Chapter 1, To Go On Floors On THIS Date

After the blockbuster success of ‘Kantara’, its makers are all set to come up with ‘Kantara Chapter 1’. They revealed the date of the Mahurat ceremony and the Rishab Shetty starrer’s first look poster.

Taking to official Instagram, the film’s production house Hombale Films shared an announcement poster and captioned it, “Step into the sacred echoes of the past, where divinity weaves through every frame. Stay enchanted for a glimpse into the unseen! #KantaraChapter1 First Look on Nov 27th at 12:25 PM.”

It has now been revealed that Kantara 2 is officially titled ‘Kantara Chapter 1’. ‘Kantara Chapter 1’ will go on floors with the Muhurat Pooja and first look poster launch on November 27.

Rishab Shetty, who was the writer, actor, and director of the film, also received acclaim.

‘Kantara’ was released on September 30 and got a good response from the audience for its storyline and visuals.

Set in the fictional village of Dakshina Kannada, Kantara follows the character of Shetty, who is playing a Kambala champion, who has a faceoff with an upright Forest Range officer.
