Ahead of finale, comedian Bharti Singh to give away ‘Bigg Boss OTT’ awards

Comedian Bharti Singh and screenwriter Haarsh Limbachiyaa are entering the ‘Bigg Boss OTT’ house on Friday to host an awards evening for the contestants.
The names of the awardees will be decided by Bigg Boss, that is, Karan Johar. What would be interesting to see is how much positivity Bharti and Haarsh are able to spread in the ‘Bigg Boss OTT’ house just one day before before the finale.
Meanwhile, in the recent episodes Bigg Boss announced a memory task for the contestants to choose a memory that they want to keep and one memory that they want to delete forever. The first contestant in the task is Nishant Bhatt.
Ahead of the finale, Bigg Boss gave an opportunity for the contestants to speak their heart out and put their opinion in front of the viewers. Bigg Boss announced a Debate task for contestants between two housemates to speak their view on why they should win this season of ‘Bigg Boss OTT’ and why the viewers should vote for them? The first round was between Shamita and Nishant Bhatt and both housemates got equal number of votes.
While on the other hand, the second round was between Divya and Shamita, two of the strongest ladies in the house came against each other to speak their opinion. But there’s a twist here, Raqesh did not want to be in a bad spot and did not vote for any of the contestants and played safe for the second and the third round. Later, Bigg Boss called off the task as the contestants were not adhering to the rules for the task.

Ayan Mukerji’s father Deb Mukherjee passes away

Mumbai, March 14: Ayan Mukerji’s father and veteran actor Deb Mukherjee has passed away at the age of 83 on Friday.
Confirming the news, his spokesperson revealed that he died in the morning due to age-related health issues. A prominent member of the renowned Samarth-Mukherjee family, Deb was the father of filmmaker Ayan Mukerji and the father-in-law of director Ashutosh Gowariker.
Deb Mukherjee’s funeral will be held at the Pawan Hans Crematorium in Juhu on March 14. The funeral is likely to be attended by members of his extended family, including Kajol and Ajay Devgn, Rani Mukerji, Tanuja, Tanissha, and Aditya Chopra. Friends of Ayan Mukerji, including Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Hrithik Roshan, Sidharth Malhotra, Deepika Padukone, and Ranveer Singh are also expected to attend the funeral.
Deb Mukherjee, born in Kanpur in 1941, hails from a renowned and accomplished film family. His mother, Satidevi, was the only sister of legendary figures Ashok Kumar, Anup Kumar, and Kishore Kumar.
His siblings included the actor Joy Mukherjee and filmmaker Shomu Mukherjee, who was married to Bollywood actress Tanuja. His nieces are famous actresses Kajol and Rani Mukerji. Deb Mukherjee was married twice. His daughter Sunita, from his first marriage, is married to filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker, while his son Ayan is from his second marriage.
For the unversed, Deb Mukherjee started his career in the 1960s with small roles in films such as “Tu Hi Meri Zindagi” and “Abhinetri.” As his career progressed, Deb transitioned to supporting roles in movies like “Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander” and “King Uncle.” His final appearance on screen was a cameo in Vishal Bhardwaj’s “Kaminey” in 2009.

Despite a rib injury, Salman did not stop shooting for Sikandar’s song ‘Bam Bam Bhole’

Ajay Devgn wishes ‘bro’ Rohit Shetty: To the man who makes madness look like magic

Mumbai, March 14: On his 51st birthday on Friday, actor Ajay Devgn wished his “bro” Rohit Shetty with a hilarious post and said that the filmmaker makes “madness look like magic” onscreen.
Ajay is a frequent collaborator with Rohit, and their partnership has resulted in some of Bollywood’s biggest hits, such as Zameen, the Golmaal franchise, All the Best: Fun Begins, The Singham franchise, and Bol Bachchan, to name a few.
The actor took to Instagram, where he hilariously shared a video of a toy car crashing into a toy truck—something Rohit is famous for. The filmmaker is known for his high-octane action sequences, which include blasting cars, dramatic car chases, slow-motion explosions, and flying SUVs.
Ajay also shared a picture of the two personalities posing for a picture together and captioned it: “Tere hisse ke bhi aaj maine hi udaa diye… To the man who makes madness look like magic Happy birthday, bro! @itsrohitshetty.”
The duo’s latest collaboration was “Singham 3.” Based on an original story ideated by Kshitij Patwardhan, the film stars Ajay Devgn in the title role, alongside Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Tiger Shroff, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Deepika Padukone, Arjun Kapoor, and Jackie Shroff.
“Singham 3” is the fifth installment of Shetty’s Cop Universe franchise. The film was shot in Mumbai, Hyderabad, Kashmir, and Sri Lanka.
On the acting front, Ajay will next be seen in the second installment of “Son of Sardaar” alongside Mrunal Thakur and Sanjay Dutt. Son of Sardaar was first released in 2012. It featured Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha, and Juhi Chawla.
The 2012 film was based on S. S. Rajamouli’s 2010 Telugu film Maryada Ramanna.
He also has “De De Pyaar De 2. Directed by Anshul Sharma, “De De Pyaar De 2” also stars R. Madhavan. The first installment of the franchise, “De De Pyaar De,” was released in May 2019.
