Mumbai, Jan 15: Actor-producer Jackky Bhagnani, who was seen at the opening ceremony of The International League T20 kicked off in the UAE, has professed his love for cricket and said that he always enjoyed playing the sport as a kid and even today.

“I’ve always enjoyed playing cricket as a kid and I still enjoy it to date,” Jackky said.

Along with the producer, the ILT20 event was also attended by famous Bollywood personalities including Shahid Kapoor, Pooja Hegde, Sonam Bajwa, Sohail Khan, and cricket personalities like Harbhajan Singh and Shoaib Akhtar.

“Attending the ILT20 Opening Ceremony was a one-of-a-kind experience. We all love cricket, and it was an amazing experience for me to perform at the opening ceremony. It’s lovely to see how cricket brings people together, and seeing everyone’s energy made me ecstatic.”

“I’m beyond overjoyed to be a part of this celebration, and see what the players have in store for us!… Attending the ceremony was a kind of homecoming for me in terms of watching my favourite sport,” he added.

Meanwhile, Jackky took center stage by engaging with fans. His appearance at the event also highlights the growing connection between cricket and entertainment, celebrating the spirit of sports on a global platform. Several photos and videos from the grand event did the rounds on social media.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Jackky is gearing up for his upcoming production venture, ‘Mere Husband Ki Biwi’.

Recently, the makers treated the audience with the film’s first motion poster, along with the release date. ‘Mere Husband Ki Biwi’ brings together an exciting star cast, including Arjun Kapoor, Rakul Preet Singh, and Bhumi Pednekar in the lead roles.

Directed by Mudassar Aziz, the film is produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky, and Deepshikha Deshmukh. ‘Mere Husband Ki Biwi’ is slated to hit the theatres on February 21.

Mumbai, Jan 14: Actor Sonu Sood, whose directorial debut ‘Fateh’ is getting a lot of positive response, recently travelled in Mumbai metro.

On Tuesday, the actor took to his Instagram, and shared a video in which he could be seen boarding a metro on line 1 of the Mumbai metro network. The video shows him surrounded by fans clicking selfies with him. The actor also showed the OOH advertising spots in the metro.

Line 1 is the oldest line of the Mumbai metro network, and was started in 2014. It connects west Mumbai to east Mumbai, and runs between Ghatkopar and Versova.

Meanwhile, ‘Fateh’ is set against the backdrop of cybercrime, and features Sonu as an ex-special ops officer with a lethal skill set, a dark past, and a mission to dismantle a sprawling network of digital terror.

The trailer of the film was released recently, and shows Sonu’s character all set to debug the corrupt and execute a system wipe of the criminals threatening innocent lives.

Talking about the film, Sonu Sood had said, “The city of joy Kolkata has always been incredibly warm to me, and its warmth has only grown since my wife is also from here. I shot a film in Howrah bridge , and today, returning to the same spot in Kolkata to promote my movie was truly nostalgic and special. Visiting the coffee shop and the temple made it even more meaningful”.

He further mentioned, “‘Fateh’ is a film that’s very close to my heart, and the chance to share it with this wonderful city feels like a full-circle moment. The essence of Kolkata felt incredibly special, and I hope the city extends the same love and support to Fateh as it has given me and my previous works”.

Renowned singer Neha Kakkar made headlines recently after photos of her getting arrested in connection to a trading scam case went viral online. However, turns out that the photos have been falsely generated using artificial intelligence (AI) and that the singer has no involvement in the case.

Several photos have been doing the rounds on the internet in which Neha can be seen crying as police personnel arrested her. The photos were shared with the caption, “Tragic end to Neha Kakkar’s career! This morning’s news was a shock to all Indian people! (sic).”

The photos also came with links, however, when clicked on them, the links redirected the reader to a malicious website carrying a fake interview in the name of Neha promoting ‘Emarlado’.

But turns out that the photos are fake and AI-generated, and Neha has nothing to do with the website or the alleged scam. The pictures were that of another woman being arrested and her face was swapped with that of Neha’s.

The singer and her team are yet to release an official statement on the same.

Earlier, names of celebs like Amitabh Bachchan and Ranveer Singh were also used to lure people to the investment scam website. The fraudulent posts showed Big B and Ranveer endorsing the platform, and making claims of high monetary returns with minimal investment.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Neha Kakkar was last seen as one of the judges on Superstar Singer Season 3.She is currently busy with the promotions of her next single, titled Moon Calling, featuring Gur Sidhu.
