DC seems to be plagued by the issue of show cancellations as after the fourth season of ‘Batwoman’, another superhero series ‘Legends of Tomorrow’ has been cancelled at the CW after seven seasons, ‘Variety’ has confirmed.

Co-showrunner and executive producer Keto Shimizu confirmed the news on Twitter as he tweeted, “Well, folks. It’s been an incredible run. However, the CW has let us know that there will be no Season 8 of #LegendsOfTomorrow. We are heartbroken, but also immensely grateful for the amazing work our cast, crew and writers have contributed to the little show that could.”

Continuing his thread, Shimizu further said in a follow-up tweet, “Thank you to our fans; your love and passion for our strange band of misfits has made every break, every script, every daily, every cut and every mix worth all the hard work. We see you, we love you, and you’ll always have a place on the Waverider.”

As per ‘Variety’, ‘Legends of Tomorrow’, which is based on the characters of DC Comics, was set in the Arrowverse and featured characters from ‘Arrow’ and ‘The Flash’. It first premiered in January 2016. The Season 7 finale – which now marks the end of the series – aired on March 2.

‘Legends of Tomorrow’ was developed by Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim, Andrew Kreisberg and Phil Klemmer, who served as executive producers alongside Sarah Schechter and Chris Fedak. Klemmer and Fedak were co-showrunners for the series’ first three seasons, with Shimizu taking over from Fedak in Season four.

The show stars Victor Garber, Brandon Routh, Arthur Darvill, Caity Lotz, Franz Drameh, Ciara Rene, Falk Hentschel, Amy Pemberton, Dominic Purcell, Wentworth Miller, Matt Letscher, Maisie Richardson-Sellers, Nick Zano, Tala Ashe, Keiynan Lonsdale, Jes Macallan, Matt Ryan, Ramona Young, Courtney Ford, Olivia Swann, Adam Tsekhman, Shayan Sobhian and Lisseth Chavez.

'Aisi Kya Majboori': Amitabh Bachchan, Tiger Shroff Brutally Trolled For Promoting KRK's New Song Mere Saathiya

Bollywood actor and self-proclaimed film critic, Kamaal R Khan, has now come up with his new music video, Mere Saathiya. And interestingly, he has found his supporters in some of the biggest names of Bollywood including Amitabh Bachchan, Anil Kapoor and Tiger Shroff.

On Tuesday, KRK announced his new song, Mere Saathiya, co-starring Rakshika Sharma and Keeya Sharma. It has been sung by Ankit Tiwari. As soon as the song was dropped online, several celebs shared it on their social media handles to promote it.

“All good wishes…Launch of the T-Series Song “Mere Saathiya” sung by Ankit Tiwari and composed by DJ Shezwood. Cast- KRK, Rakshika Sharma and Keeya Sharma. Watch and enjoy!”, Big B wrote on his X handle.

Tiger Shroff wrote, “Wish you success on your new song @kamaalrkhan sir.” Wishing you all the luck and success for your musical journey @kamaalrkhan! Presenting the first of many,” Anil Kapoor quipped.

However, netizens were left confused as KRK is known for bashing almost the whole of Bollywood. In fact, he was even involved in a public online spat with Abhishek Bachchan a couple of years ago.

“Aisi kya majboori,” a user commented, while another wrote, “Come on sir. Itne bure din bhi nahi aaye hain abhi ki aapko is cartoon ke songs promote karne pad jaye.” “What a downfall,” a netizen stated.

For those unversed, KRK is known for his controversial statements on social media, and he was even jailed for the same a few months ago. The actor has several defamation cases registered against him by B-Town celebs.

Ulajh Trailer: Janhvi Kapoor Impresses As IFS Officer, Fights Being Called A Nepo Kid & 'Desh Drohi'

The much-anticipated trailer of Janhvi Kapoor’s upcoming film Uljah has been unveiled today, July 16. It also stars Gulshan Devaiah, Roshan Mathew, Rajesh Tailang, and Meiyang Chang in pivotal roles.

Sharing the trailer, Janhvi wrote, “Everyone has a story. Every story has secrets. Every secret is a trap. Iss #Ulajh ko suljhana is not going to be easy. #UlajhTrailer out now.”

The trailer shows the journey of Janhvi as Suhana Bhatia, the youngest Deputy High Commissioner of the country, gets accused of being a ‘nepo’ kid. She gets embroiled in a dangerous personal conspiracy while far from her home turf, at a career-defining post at the London embassy.

Talking about Ulajh, Janhvi said, “This film is particularly special to me as I portray a very challenging role of a diplomat for the first time. It has been a humbling and fascinating experience. Working with Sudhanshu Saria has been incredibly enriching; he made me push my own boundaries. Suhana’s character is strong and multi-dimensional, and I found a personal connection to some shades of the character that enabled me to deliver an authentic performance.”

Director Sudhanshu Saria added, “Ulajh is ultimately about the conundrum of choices, choices and setting it in the high stakes world of international diplomacy made it that much more exciting. Directing this spectacular cast, led by Janhvi, Gulshan, and Roshan has been a privilege and they have all brought remarkable depth to their characters and elevated the narrative. I can’t wait to see audiences go on this thrill-ride loaded with twists and turns.”
