Mumbai Mahayoti government’s budget is disappointing for minorities, especially Muslims: Abu Asim Azmi

There is no mention of minorities in the budget of the Mumbai Mahayoti government, so this budget is very disappointing for Muslims. He said that in this budget, no special focus has been placed on education, development and employment, nor has any action plan, strategy or concrete steps been taken for this. There are no clear arrangements for welfare and welfare. This kind of opinion has been expressed by MLA Abu Asim Azmi on the budget. He said that for years, various committees and commissions have been recommending reservations and special assistance for minorities, but till date no concrete action has been taken on these recommendations. The government needs Urdu to express its feelings, despite this, almost zero amount has been allocated for Urdu language in the budget. It seems that there is no concrete arrangement for Urdu schools, educational institutions or Urdu teachers. On the one hand, funds are provided for every religious place and devotion is expressed at Dargahs, but why this stepmotherly behavior at the time of budget? If the government cannot provide reservation and make proper arrangements in the budget, then it should at least give the Muslims and other minorities of Maharashtra the right to respect and equality. On the one hand, the government claims to follow the ideals of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, but on the other hand, it seems to be doing utter injustice. Using the name of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and treating Muslims with hatred just to stay in power is an insult to the entire Maharashtra. Maharashtra cannot progress by ignoring minorities. The government should adopt a policy that is inclusive and based on justice.
