Wadettiwar’s allegations

Vijay Wadettiwar tweeted, “No action was taken against the BJP-linked organization leader in the Badlapur case. Instead, Akshay Shinde was saved by doing a fake encounter. The then Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Home Minister Devendra Fadnavis cannot escape responsibility in this case.”

He further said, “There was a race to take credit for this encounter in the name of ‘Eknath’s justice’ and ‘Devabhau’s justice’. This fake narrative was prepared only for the assembly elections, through which the Mahayuti government played a game for votes.”

Court report

The court’s investigation revealed that five policemen were responsible for the encounter and it was fake. The court has ordered a thorough investigation into the matter.

Attack on Mahayuti government

Wadettiwar said, “The false story that the Mahayuti government had fabricated for electoral gains is now coming to the fore. This fake encounter was only for votes, due to which the administrative and political system of Maharashtra was misused.”

There has been no official response from the BJP and the Mahayuti government in this matter yet.
