Anant Ambani And Radhika Merchant’s Grand Wedding Celebration Begins In Mumbai

Published

The stage is set for the  most powerful power  wedding India has ever witnessed. On Friday Anant (29), son of Mukesh Ambani, whose personal wealth is reported to be a mind-boggling  $115 billion, will tie the knot with his eight-year-old extremely pretty sweetheart Radhika Merchant (29), daughter of Encore Healthcare chief  Viren Merchant .  It was love at first sight for both of them and the chemistry continues to be on display at all photo shoots. The coming three days invitees will witness the most expensive wedding ever celebrated in the country.

There will be “Shubh Vivah” on Friday, “Shubh Ashirwad” on Saturday and “Mangal Utsav” on Sunday. The venue will be the Jio international convention centre at the Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC) which is witnessing a thick security carpet since the Who’s Who from the world of politics, India Inc, Bollywood, international tycoons and the diplomatic corps from New Delhi are expected to attend the mega ceremonies, which the BBC said is “turning heads around the world.” Dhirubhai Ambani’s favourite slogan was “karlo duniya mutthi mein” and his son is demonstrating that he has already done that.

The invitees includes Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who will be in town to inaugurate a slew of infra projects of the BMC on Saturday, Congress leader Sonia Gandhi, Union home minister Amit Shah, Union cabinet ministers, chief ministers of Maharashtra, Gujarat, Karnataka, W Bengal, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and other states.

Leaders cutting across the NDA-INDIA Alliance political divide, who have been at each other’s throats in Parliament, will arrive in style. In fact, W. Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerji is already in town. She explained, rather weakly, that she is attending the wedding “since Mukesh and Nita repeatedly called” her. Mukesh Ambani had personally invited Sonia Gandhi during the course of an hour-long meeting at 10, Janpath recently and indications are that she will come in view of the Gandhis’ long relationship with the Ambani clan ever since the time of the late patriarch Dhirubhai Ambani.

Prominent among the diplomats will be the Chinese ambassador Xu Feihong, who laid a wreath at Dr Kotnis’ memorial in Solapur on Thursday.

Mukesh Ambani, who  dotes on Anant, has pulled all stops to make the wedding a talking point for the next few decades.  All the rooms at five-start hotels in BKC and other areas of Mumbai have been booked for the guests reportedly at Rs 1 lakh per night. The main event was preceded by two gala pre-wedding parties; the first one at Jamnagar, where Reliance Industries has the world’s largest oil refinery. The guests were entertained by the likes of Rihanna, a Barbadian singer believed to be the best-selling female recording artist of the 21st century who charged a cool $ 7 million. Later guests were taken on a uber luxury cruise on the Mediterranean with halts in balmy Italy and south of France.

The “sangeet” ceremony at the Rs 15,000-crore Ambani residence spread over 4 lakh sq ft on Altamount Road saw a performance by superstar singer Justin Bieber, who was paid a modest Rs 83 cr. He posed in a banyan with the young couple much to the amusement of millions of people across the globe updating themselves on Insta and other social media  about the series of events leading up to the dream wedding.

Amidst all this totally unprecedented fanfare, Anant, who is a deeply religious person, took Radhika along with him to the Kali temple at Nerul in Navi Mumbai recently and performed special rituals to ensure their lasting happiness.

Who will become MLA, who will get the ticket, how will Muslim votes be distributed.

After the Haryana elections, elections are to be held in Maharashtra, which holds the financial capital of the country, although the elections have not been announced yet, but if the experts are to be believed, elections in Maharashtra can be held in February or March 2025. Before the elections, the political atmosphere of Maharashtra is looking quite heated these days. If sources are to be believed, Mumbai’s Bandra Assembly seat was once held by Congress’s Zishan Siddiqui, who has now given the Bandra seat to Uddhav after he left the party. Thackeray’s party has decided to give On the other hand, Uddhav Sena has decided to leave its Chandivali seat, which was occupied by Uddhav Sena, for Congress’s Arif Naseem Khan, although this has not been formally announced yet. According to expert sources, this time Congress Uddhav Sena and Sharad Pawar’s NCP have already made up their mind to compromise on seats with each other.

Yamani Jadhav of Uddhav Sena is the MLA from Mumbai’s Byculla Assembly seat, after which I left Uddhav Sena and joined Shinde Sena and in the recent Lok Sabha elections, Shinde Sena had fielded Yamani Jadhav against Arivand Sawant of Uddhav Sena. Yamani Jadhav also had to face a crushing defeat.

Now a matter of confusion is going on between Congress and Uddhav Sena on Byculla seat. At present, after MLA Yamani Jadhav left the party, Uddhav Sena does not have any strong candidate in this area who can defeat Shinde government’s sitting MLA Yamani Jadhav. . Whereas Congress has past MLA Madhu Chavan who has a lot of influence in Byculla.

Recently, Muslim vote politics has started in Byculla assembly constituency. Yamini Jadhav distributed burqas to Muslim women to please the Muslims, while on the other hand, Owaisi’s Majlis party also started using its tactics to get the votes of Muslims. Are The party is considering contesting Waris Pathan from Majlis from here. Samajwadi Party is also planning to field its candidate from Byculla area this time, Raees Shaikh, who is currently the sitting MLA from Bhiwandi, from Byculla. Maharashtra President on the seat of Bhiwandi. Abu Asim’s son Farhan Azmi will be fought While Abuasim Azmi himself will contest the Legislative Assembly elections from Govandi seat in Mumbai, it is a different matter that if any agreement is reached with Congress, then Byculla seat can be left. In such a situation, it is difficult for Raees Shaikh to get ticket from Samajwadi in the elections this time. Meanwhile, Faiyaz Ahmed Khan, an independent who was expelled from Owaisi’s party from Byculla assembly constituency, is planning to contest elections from this area. There is a possibility of division of a large number of Muslim votes in this area due to Faiyaz Ahmed and Majlis heir Pathan contesting the elections, due to which if Congress fields its candidate here, it would lead to its defeat and Shinde government’s expectations of Yamini Jadhav would increase Is.

Whatever be the case, as the elections come closer, many people will join different parties with the intention of making their own fortunes and many street leaders will get the votes divided out of greed for money. This time the elections in Maharashtra will be interesting as well as very difficult for the general public, meanwhile it will be difficult to decide whom to elect and why.

'Fadnavis Ineligible To Run Home Dept', Raut Says After BJP Leader Bawankule Son's Audi Car Accident

Mumbai, Sep 10: Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut on Tuesday said Devendra Fadnavis was not eligible to head the Maharashtra home department, an attack coming a day after the accident involving a luxury car owned by state BJP chief Chandrashekhar Bawankule’s son.

Speaking to reporters here, Raut claimed evidence has been removed in the case and that till BJP leader Fadnavis remains the home minister, there will not be any fair probe in any case in the state.

About The Accident

The Audi car owned by Bawankule’s son Sanket hit several vehicles in Ramdaspeth area of Nagpur in the early hours of Monday, after which the driver and one more occupant were apprehended by police.

The occupants of the luxury car were returning from a beer bar in Dharampeth area when the incident took place, a police official on Monday said adding the medical examination will include blood tests for alcohol detection.

“A case of rash driving and other offences was registered. No action has been taken so far against Sanket Bawankule and the other two occupants who reportedly escaped from the scene at Mankapur bridge,” the official said.

Raut on Tuesday hit out at Fadnavis over the case probe.

“According to our information, the son of BJP state president Chandrashekhar Bawankule was allegedly drunk and seriously injured two persons in Nagpur. Surprisingly, his name was not mentioned in the First Information Report (FIR), and the car’s number plate was removed after the accident,” he claimed.

If Devendra Fadnavis, who also hails from Nagpur, fails to lead the home department effectively, then he is not eligible for such a position, the Rajya Sabha member said.

“The car is registered in Bawankule’s name, yet all the evidence has been removed,” Raut claimed.

“As long as Fadnavis is the home minister and Rashmi Shukla is the director general of police, there will never be any fair investigation in any matter in the state,” he added.

According to an official from Nagpur’s Sitabuldi police station official, the Audi car first collided with complainant Jitendra Sonkamble’s car at 1 am on Monday and then with a moped, leaving two youth riding it injured.

“The Audi car struck some more vehicles moving towards Mankapur area. At T-Point there, the vehicle hit a Polo car. Its occupants chased the Audi and stopped it near Mankapur bridge. Two occupants, identified as driver Arjun Hawre and Ronit Chittamwar, were stopped by those in the Polo car,” he said.

After the incident, Chandrashekhar Bawankule admitted the Audi car was registered in the name of his son Sanket.

“Police should conduct a thorough and impartial investigation into the accident without any bias. Those found guilty should be charged and appropriate action should be taken against them. I have not spoken to any police official. The law must be equal for all,” the senior BJP leader said.

CID Additional SP Shrikant Kolhapure Arrested for Bribery in Liquor License Scam

Pune: The State Crime Investigation Department (CID) arrested Additional Police Superintendent Shrikant Namdevrao Kolhapure on charges of bribery and fraud in a case involving a liquor license for a hotel in Mahabaleshwar.

The case came to light when Hemant Balakrishna Salvi, the owner of Meghdoot Hotel, lodged a complaint alleging that Kolhapure, along with his associates, demanded ₹2.5 crore to facilitate the issuance of a liquor license for his hotel.

The group, which included Kolhapure’s associates Hanumant Munde, Abhimanyu Ramdas Dedage, and Balu Babasaheb Puri, initially collected ₹1.05 crore from Salvi.

Realizing that no progress was being made on the promised license, Salvi reported the matter to the Director General of Police of the Crime Investigation Department, suspecting foul play.

Following a thorough investigation by the Economic Offences Wing, a case was registered at Wai Police Station. The CID quickly acted on the complaint, arresting Munde, Dedage, and Puri. Kolhapure, however, evaded arrest and went into hiding, prompting a manhunt by the authorities.

A special CID team, led by Deputy Superintendent of Police Ganesh Mali and comprising Police Inspector Varsha Kawade along with constables Vijay Kumbhar, Nivrutti Padekar, Zamir Mulla, and Swapnil Jadhav, eventually tracked Kolhapure to Thane, where he was apprehended.

Kolhapure was presented before the Wai court, where he was remanded to five days of police custody as the investigation, spearheaded by Police Superintendent Manisha Dubule, continues.
