Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video Trailer: Rajkummar Rao, Triptii Dimri’s 97% Parivarik Film Is Filled With Drama, Humour & ’90s Nostalgia

The makers of Rajkummar Rao and Triptii Dimri unveiled the intriguing and fun-filled trailer of their much-anticipated film Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video at an event in Mumbai on Thursday. Written and directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa, the film also stars Mallika Sherawat, Archana Puran Singh, Vijay Raaz, Rakesh Bedi, Mukesh Tiwari, Tiku Talsania and others.
Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video is set in 1997. The trailer of the film begins with scenes of Vicky (Rajkummar) and Vidya’s (Triptii) wedding in Rishikesh. The newlywed proposes recording their wedding night for a keepsake, but their plans are derailed when their CD player and the precious video goes missing.
The trailer will take you on a delightful journey filled with family drama, and a dash of humour and suspense. The film also brings back Punjabi singer Daler Mehndi with his iconic track Na Na Na Re, giving a sense of ’90s nostalgia.
Different from the horror-comedies and action-thrillers being released off late, Rajkummar and Triptii’s film is touted to be a pure masala entertainer set in the ’90s. The film guarantees to keep the audience with the unfolding events as the search for the stolen CD takes center stage.
In fact, the makers have stated that the film is 97 per cent paarivarik and 3 per cent maha paarivarik.
The trailer also features a still of actress-singer and Bigg Boss 13 fame Shehnaaz Gill. However, nothing much about her part in the film has been revealed yet.
Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video is all set to hit the big screens on October 12. It is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Ektaa Kapoor, Vipul Shah and Raaj Shaandilyaa.

Disha Salian case: Fresh FIR names Aaditya Thackeray, Rhea Chakraborty, Dino Morea

Mumbai, March 25: An FIR has been filed against Shiv Sena(UBT) leader Aaditya Thackeray, Rhea Chakraborty, Dino Morea, Suraj Pancholi and others in Disha Salian’s death case, her father’s advocate said on Tuesday.
Satish Salian’s advocate Nilesh Ojha filed a fresh FIR in her death case. Ojha said that a written complaint has been filed with the police commissioner. In the FIR, the names of Aaditya Thackeray, Dino Morea and Suraj Pancholi have been mentioned.
According to Ojha, a written complaint to the police commissioner’s office was accepted by the joint commissioner of police (crime). The complaint is incorporated in the FIR. He further stated, “Aaditya Thackeray, Dino Morea, Suraj Pancholi and his bodyguard, Parambir Singh, Sachin Vaze and Rhea Chakraborty are all accused in the FIR.”
He claimed that Parambir Singh was the main mastermind for the coverup in the case. Ojha said, “Parambir Singh held a press conference and fabricated lies to save Aaditya Thackeray. NCB’s probe proves that Aaditya Thackeray was involved in a drug business and it has been also mentioned in the FIR.”
Ojha said that former Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and his associates hatched a conspiracy to suppress this serious crime. Some senior police officers were also involved in the conspiracy as they misused police and government machinery, created false police records, suppressed witnesses and tried to hide criminal evidence.
“It is my sincere request that all these acts should be immediately prosecuted under sections 376(D), 302, 409, 120(B), 107, 109, 166, 167 and other applicable sections of the IPC and strict action be taken against the accused,” said Ojha.
The move comes after Satish Salian recently filed a petition in the high court seeking a CBI probe into his daughter’s death. He had claimed that Disha was raped and murdered and he has named Aaditya Thackeray in the petition.
Disha Salian, who was a former manager of the late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, died on June 8, 2020, after allegedly falling from the 14th floor of a highrise building in Mumbai. At the time, the Mumbai Police registered an Accidental Death Report (ADR). Six days later, Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead at his Bandra residence. While the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) took over the actor’s death probe, an SIT (Special Investigation Team) was constituted by the Maharashtra government in 2023 to investigate Disha’s death.

Aamir Khan vs Salman Khan: Face-Off to determine who is the real ‘Sikandar’

Mumbai, March 25: In a battle of Bollywood giants, Aamir Khan and Salman Khan are facing off to claim the title of the real ‘Sikandar.’
As both stars have made significant marks in their careers with iconic roles, the question of who truly deserves the title of ‘Sikandar’ has even left filmmaker AR Murugadoss in a tough position. On Tuesday, Salman shared a video of him with Aamir and Murugadoss on his Instagram handle, writing, “Amar Prem ka Andaaz with AR Murugadoss! #SikandarMeetsGhajini #AamirKhan #SajidNadiadwala’s #Sikandar Directed by @a.r.murugadoss.”
In the video, the trio can be seen seated, engaged in an intriguing conversation. The clip opens with Aamir asking AR Murugadoss, “Between me and Salman, who is the real Sikandar?” The filmmaker is seen with a serious expression on his face.
Interestingly, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan share a great rapport. They had previously worked together in the iconic film “Andaz Apna Apna.” The two superstars often show mutual support for each other’s films, and this camaraderie is evident as part of Salman’s upcoming film “Sikandar” promotions. Not to forget, the ‘Wanted’ actor even made an appearance at the screening of Aamir Khan’s son Junaid’s debut film, showing his support for the young actor.
Meanwhile, Salman is currently busy promoting his next project, “Sikandar,” which marks his first on-screen pairing with Rashmika Mandanna. On March 23, the makers dropped its highly awaited trailer, packed with action and suspense. In the trailer, the ‘Dabangg’ actor takes on the titular role of Sikandar, a man driven by a strong sense of purpose.
Speaking at the trailer launch, the actor spoke about the age gap between superstars and younger actresses, sharing his thoughts on the evolving dynamics in the film industry. In his trademark style, Salman stated, “I have a 31-year age difference between me and the heroine. The heroine doesn’t have this problem. The heroine’s father doesn’t have this problem.” He then turned towards Rashmika and asked her, “You don’t have this problem, right?”
Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, “Sikandar” is set to release in theatres on March 30, 2025.
