Mumbai, Sep 22: Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, wife Gauri Khan and their daughter Suhana Khan stepped out together forGanpati darshan at Mumbai’s iconic Lalbaugcha Raja on Monday night.

The family was accompanied by Shah Rukh’s manager Pooja Dadlani as they made their way through the crowded pandal and participated in the evening aarti.

It was a few candid moments between the father-daughter duo and Gauri that caught attention online.

In a video, Suhana appears to have some vermilion on her nose and around her eye after the darshan. Gauri can be seen using her dupatta to gently help Suhana clean the area and soothe the irritation.

Shah Rukh, too, is seen attending to his daughter and trying to wipe the vermilion from her nose, making sure that she is comfortable and helping her freshen up.

In another video from the celebrations, Shah Rukh is seen wiping the vermilion from his own face and cleaning the sweat off his forehead with assistance from his manager and close associate Pooja Dadlani, by using her dupatta.

Pooja has been associated with Shah Rukh for years and accompanied him to the Lalbaugcha Raja pandal this time as well.

For the festive outing, Shah Rukh opted for a blue traditional kurta, while Gauri looked elegant in a yellow ethnic ensemble. Suhana complemented them in a green traditional outfit.

While Suhana joined her parents for the Lalbaugcha Raja darshan this year, Aryan Khan and AbRam Khan were not seen with the family at the pandal.

This is not the first time Shah Rukh has visited Lalbaugcha Raja. In 2023, the actor visited the iconic pandal with his younger son AbRam and Pooja Dadlani.

A few days ago, during an #AskSRK session on X (Formerly Twitter) a fan asked him about his family’s Ganpati celebrations. Shah Rukh revealed, “Wife does the Aarti and then the prayers and tonight will do the Visarjan. Kids and friends gather to hang around and laugh a lot. Very simple and family time.”

Shah Rukh has also spoken publicly about how he and Gauri have raised their three children, Aryan, Suhana and AbRam, in an interfaith household.

The Lalbaugcha Raja appearance also follows Shah Rukh’s recent Ganpati outings in Mumbai, including his attendance at the Ambani family’s Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations.

On the work front, Shah Rukh is gearing up for King, directed by Siddharth Anand, in which he shares the screen with Suhana. The film is scheduled to release on December 24, 2026.

Mumbai, Sep 21: Actress Lara Dutta attended a conference on Alzheimer’s awareness on World Alzheimer’s Day on Monday.

Addressing the media after the conference, Lara said that the biggest tool in the fight against Alzheimer’s is to ‘start a conversation’ and identify the signs as early as possible for better treatment.

Sharing her personal experience with the disease, the ‘Partner’ actress added that her 80-year-old mother has been living with Alzheimer’s and dementia for almost 10 years now.

Lara said, “Today is World Alzheimer’s Day, and the most important message I would like to share is that we tend to think Alzheimer’s is just a disease of forgetfulness. My mother is 80 years old, and she has been living with Alzheimer’s and dementia for quite a long time—about 10 years, a decade. And the kind of care we have been able to provide her would not have been possible without the support of great doctors, a strong support system, and caregivers.”

The ‘Chalo Dilli’ actress said that if we notice any changes in our loved ones, we should reach out to professionals so that they can receive the proper treatment and care.

“So, I would like to say that when it comes to Alzheimer’s disease, the most important thing today is that we talk about it and start a conversation. We should start as early as possible so that we can identify the disease in its early stages and empower ourselves. That way, if we notice that our loved ones, or even we ourselves, are beginning to experience changes in thinking or memory, we can support ourselves in the best possible way. We should not think of this as simply a problem of forgetfulness and wait five years to see what happens. It is very important that you do not confuse this with the normal aging process,” she added.

At the end, Lara asked all to reach out to good healthcare practitioners, empower themselves by asking questions, and also build the support system required to take care of people living with Alzheimer’s and dementia.

Mumbai, Sep 21: Veteran Bollywood star Anupam Kher has been honoured with a special proclamation by the State of Ohio, recognising his over four-decade journey in cinema and the live stage performance of Jaane Pehchaane Anjaane.

Anupam took to Instagram, where he shared a picture of himself with the special proclamation by the State of Ohio and expressed gratitude to Governor Mike DeWine and Lieutenant Governor Jim Tressel for the honour, saying he accepted it with “immense pride and humility.”

He wrote in the caption section: “DEEPLY HONOURED AND HUMBLED! It is an extraordinary feeling to receive this special proclamation from the State of Ohio, recognising my journey of more than four decades in cinema and our live stage performance of “Jaane Pehchaane Anjaane” in Columbus.”

“My heartfelt gratitude to the Honourable Governor of Ohio, Mr. Mike DeWine, and Lieutenant Governor Mr. Jim Tressel, for this wonderful honour. I accept it with immense pride and humility!”

The actor concluded by saying: “Not only for myself, but also with gratitude to the Indian film industry, which has given me my identity, and to the brilliant cast and crew of #JaanePehchaaneAnjane, whose passion and dedication make every performance so special.”

Anupam made his acting debut with Mahesh Bhatt-directed drama film Saaransh in 1984. Since then, he has worked in a motley of films including Karma, Tezaab, Chaalbaaz, Vijay, Ram Lakhan, Daddy, Saudagar, Dil, Hum Aapke Hain Koun, Special 26, Uunchai, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Dulhan Hum Le Jayenge and Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, among many others.

He was last seen in the film Tanvi The Great. The film follows Tanvi Raina, a 21-year-old woman on the autism spectrum, who lives with her mother Vidya and grandfather Colonel Pratap Raina.

Inspired by her deceased father, an Indian Army officer who dreamed of saluting the flag at Siachen Glacier, Tanvi becomes determined to follow in his footsteps and join the army to fulfill his dream herself.
