Vijay Deverakonda Sustains Shoulder Injury During VD 12’s Fight Sequence Shoot
Actor Vijay Deverakonda is currently undergoing physio and rehab after suffering a shoulder injury during the shoot of his upcoming film VD 12. The actor injured himself while shooting an intense action sequence. While Vijay has not shared any update with his fans, it has been reported that he did not take a break to recover from the injury.
Vijay is getting physio and rehab to heal his shoulder after he got injured during a fight sequence.
“He is still training for his role and shooting his scenes, doing his best not to escalate the injury further and pushing through the pain. There’s no time for a break on his schedule now,” a source informed the news portal.
Vijay also took special precautions to stay safe from injury during the film’s shoot. Last month, an independent industry source had informed, “Vijay is all set to explore the action genre in VD 12. To avoid any kind of injury while preparing for his action-packed role, the actor always has his physio with him. He is making sure to keep his physio close during the action training for VD 12 so that he can able to complete the shoot without any harm.”
In July 2024, Vijay’s look from the yet-untitled upcoming film was leaked on social media platforms. Soon after a couple of photos from the sets of the film surfaced, the makers urged netizens not to share them.
Their statement read, “Dear Rowdy fans, we share your excitement and enthusiasm! Team #VD12 is working very hard to bring you an unforgettable theatrical experience. Till date, we have completed 60% of the shoot and are currently filming in Sri Lanka.”
They added, “For the past six months, we have been keeping details under wraps. Preserving the first look for a red hot official unveiling. We kindly ask you to refrain from sharing any leaks and wait for the official announcement. Coming very soon.”
The film, touted to be a gangster drama, is being directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri.
In November 2023, it was reported that Rashmika Mandanna has replaced actress Sreleela in VD12. However, there has been no confirmation about the lead actress of the film.
VD12 is Tinnanuri’s first project in four years after the National-Award winning Jersey which starred Nani and Shraddha Srinath and its Hindi remake which starred Shahid Kapoor and Mrunal Thakur in the leads. The film will reportedly see Vijay play a cop for the first time in his career.
The film is all set to hit the big screens on March 28, 2025.

Shah Rukh Khan Feels ‘Breathless’ After Quitting Smoking: Know 3 Major Reasons Behind This Withdrawal Symptom
Referred to as Bollywood’s Badshaah, Shah Rukh Khan turned 59 on November 2 this year. The actor’s smoking habits are not unknown since SRK himself once revealed smoking up to 100 cigarettes in a day. While interacting with his fans during a meet and greet on his birthday, he revealed that he has finally quit smoking for better health.
In a video that is going viral on social media, SRK is seen sharing his latest lifestyle update, where he shared that he has quit smoking. He also shared how he thought quitting smoking might not make him feel breathless, but it does. “Mujhe laga tha ki I will not feel so breathless, but abhi bhi feel kar raha hu (I thought I wouldn’t feel breathless after quitting smoking, but I still do),” SRK said.
Reasons why one feels breathless after they quit smoking
If you have been a smoker for many years of your life, quitting it will have a few natural reactions on your body. Your body will take some time to get accustomed to getting rid of a habit. Once a person quits smoking, their body automatically enters the self-repair phase, which is why one might feel breathless. It is just an effect of the healing process.
After quitting, your lungs start to repair themselves, which includes increased mucus production to clear out tar and toxins. This excess mucus can make you feel congested and short of breath. Although there are many effects seen in the body after one decides to quit smoking, here are three main reasons why breathlessness occurs.
Nicotine withdrawal
Nicotine withdrawal can cause anxiety, restlessness, and a heightened awareness of breathing, sometimes leading to a feeling of breathlessness, even if your lungs are actually improving. Nicotine affects dopamine levels in the brain, which play a big role in mood regulation. When you stop smoking, dopamine levels drop, making you feel irritable, frustrated, or anxious.
Breathing pattern changes
Some people change their breathing patterns without realising it. People who have smoked for a long time might begin shallow breathing and become more aware of their breathing, which might lead to making them feel breathless. Breathing patterns might vary when someone stops smoking because of changes in both physical and psychological factors. Over time, smoking changes a person’s breathing patterns, so it takes time for their body and mind to adapt.
Feeling anxious might lead to shortness of breath
Anxiety and shortness of breath often go hand in hand, especially after quitting smoking. Anxiety often leads to shallow, rapid breathing (chest breathing), which can cause an imbalance of oxygen and carbon dioxide in the body, leading to lightheadedness and a feeling of shortness of breath.
Quitting smoking can be a difficult journey, but it can be the best decision you take for your health. Breathing exercises and physical activities can help with battling the withdrawal symptoms.

Singham Again Movie Review: Ajay Devgn, Rohit Shetty’s ‘High-Voltage’ Ramayana Is Explosively Entertaining!
Title: Singham Again
Director: Rohit Shetty
Cast: Ajay Devgn, Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Jackie Shroff, Akshay Kumar and Shweta Tiwari.
Where: In cinemas
Rating: 3 stars
Positioned and postured as a full-blown action entertainer to be enjoyed with your family, Rohit Shetty brings Ajay Devgn’s Bajirao Singham back to narrate the modern day Ramayana, replete with a bunch of B-town stars to do justice to the epic saga that shows the ultimate victory of good over evil. So, right from Sita-haran (Sita’s abduction) to Jatayu’s sacrifice to Lanka-dahan, every chapter must unfold with cinematic liberty and melodrama that must serve justice to every key situation of the epic battle.
And truth be stated, we get the events, and we even cheer for every sequence and subtext that the film mounts to showcase the Ram Vs Ravan battle. Right from the unconditional love of Laxman and Bharat to the ultimate loyalty of Hanuman to Sita’s cruel abduction– every character has a context placement and contemplation to ruminate over. But hang on a sec! Who is Deepika placed as in this tale? She is neither Shabri, Shurpanakha or Mandodri. Her character seems as misfit and misplaced as her poor acting and her wobbly (read: horribly put on and off-putting) accent!
While the rest of the star cast plays to the gallery amidst the ear-splitting background score, Deepika sticks out like a sore thumb as the lady Singham.
At 2 hours and 24 minutes, Shetty unleashes the mega star-power of his film, and how! From Simmba (Ranveer Singh) to Sooryavanshi (Akshay Kumar), everybody jumps in to offer their bit to ensure that the audience remains engaged and entertained. Equally engaging and pleasant are the backdrops against which the makers have set the pieces of the narrative. Every locale is either scenic, handsomely mounted or ‘explosive’ with the trademark sign of Shetty pasted all over.
The story is simple and straight to state the obvious. Bajirao Singham nabs a notorious terrorist (Jackie Shroff) and his arrest triggers another baddie (Arjun Kapoor) to abduct Singham’ wife (Kareena Kapoor Khan). So, what’s the connection between these two events, you may wonder! You will have to watch the film to find out the link, as Shetty gives you a backstory that sets the current tale rolling.
What’s remarkable is how the makers have designed the entry of each character, and how the sequences have been spaced out to do justice to every character that makes their presence felt. Nobody disappears or gets diluted in terms of the presence and storytelling in the name of cinematic liberty. Add to it Ranveer Singh’s over the top hysteria, Akshay Kumar’s reassuring screen-presence and Tiger Shroff’s crisp, but impactful action chops, and you would know how Shetty elevates the film as a sheer entertainer worthy of all the whistles and cheers.
The sequence where Ranveer sets Arjun Kapoor’s territory on fire or when Shetty brings Chulbul Pandey (Salman Khan) to spice up the already high-voltage drama is incredible!
For a strory where you know how everything is going to unfold and conclude like, Shetty brings his A game to the table to showcase his strength –which is action and comedy–and dare we say, he doesn’t miss a single beat. While some sequences look stretched out beyond their capacities, and some could easily have been edited out, all in all one enjoys this ‘copverse’ studded with bharpoor dialoguebaazi and seemingly never ending ‘action’.
