Ram Madhvani announces Season 3 of Sushmita Sen-starrer ‘Aarya’
Filmmaker Ram Madhvani has announced that the 3rd season of Sushmita Sen’s digital debut series ‘Aarya’ is in development. Sushmita and Ram Madhvani spoke about their collaboration and how it is to work together.
The first season of the show even got an Emmy nomination .
Based on Dutch drama series Penoza, the crime thriller revolves around Aarya (Sushmita), who joins a mafia gang and turns into a don to take revenge for her husband’s murder. The show’s lead actor said: “It is a new dawn for Aarya Sareen, and she is fierce. In Season 3, she is going places and starting her own story free from the obstacles of her past.”
Sushmita shared further how it feels to reprise her role and how it is to work with Ram Madhvani: “Reprising the role of Aarya is like slipping into old jeans but for a brand-new journey. It feels great to be back with Ram Madhvani and can’t wait to return the love and appreciation viewers have showered on Aarya.”
Elated about the upcoming season, creator and filmmaker Ram Madhvani added: “Disney+ Hotstar has been an amazing partner in building Aarya through 2 seasons and we are delighted to associate with them once again for yet another season.”
“The journey of developing a gripping storyline, thrill and family love has started and we are sure this will once again leave audiences wanting more. The stakes are only getting higher from here. It’s great to be back with Sushmita Sen and Co-Producer Amita Madhvani and the full Ram Madhvani Films team,” he concluded.
Aarya Season 3 will be streaming soon on Disney+ Hotstar. It also features Chandrachur Singh, Sikandar Kher, Ankur Bhatia, and Vikas Kumar among others.

Amitabh Bachchan Drops Post On India Mourning Deaths Of National Heroes Beyond Religion, Actress Nafisa Ali Says ‘You Should Be President’
Indian megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who is quite active on social media, took to his Instagram handle in the wee hours of Friday and shared a post stating how the nation mourned the loss of some eminent personalities in 2024 by looking beyond their religion.
Big B shared a cartoon showing the late Ratan Tata, former PM Manmohan Singh, tabla legend Zakir Hussain and filmmaker Shyam Benegal, all in heaven. “A Parsi, a Muslim, a Sikh and a Hindu passed away in 2024 and the whole nation mourned and remembered them only as Indians,” the post read.
Sharing it on his handle, Big B wrote, “The picture says it all”.
As soon as he shared the post, netizens lauded his thought and said how this inclusivity was the true essence of India. However, it was a comment by veteran actress Nafisa Ali that caught everyone’s attention.
The Life In A…Metro actress commented under Big B’s post: “Deeply touched by your thoughts today… You should the President of India… wishing you health, happiness and heartfelt peace (sic).”
The former chairperson of the Tata Group, Ratan Tata, sent the entire nation into mourning as he passed away on October 9, 2024, at the age of 86. Tabla maestro Zakir Hussain breathed his last on December 15, and his death was followed by filmmaker Shyam Benegal’s demise on December 23. Ex-PM Manmohan Singh passed away on December 26, 2024.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Big B has his hands full with multiple projects in his kitty. While the actor is set to play key roles in the second part of Kalki 2898 AD and Section 84, he is also currently shooting as the host for his popular game show, Kaun Banega Crorepati.

Mumbai, Jan 3: Singer Armaan Malik is finally married to his longtime girlfriend and influencer, Aashna Shroff.
The couple took to Instagram to share the joyful news, posting dreamy wedding photos accompanied by a heartfelt caption.
Armaan and Aashna got engaged in August 2023. On Thursday, Armaan and Aashna shared photos from their nuptials on their respective Instagram handles, writing in the caption, “tu hi mera Ghar.”
In the photos, the couple radiates pure happiness, dressed in stunning traditional wedding attire in shades of orange. Aashna looks beautiful as a bride in an orange lehenga, while Armaan opts for a pastel-shaded sherwani.
The wedding appeared to be an intimate outdoor affair, attended by close family and friends. Soon after the couple announced their wedding, the comments section was flooded with congratulatory messages. In the other pictures, the couple posed adorably together. Armaan captioned the post, “And our forever has only just begun.”

Salman Khan promises stellar action extravaganza with ‘Sikandar’ teaser
Mumbai, Dec 28: The teaser of the upcoming Salman Khan-starrer ‘Sikandar’ was unveiled on Saturday. It sets the tone for a quintessential Salman Khan film as the Bollywood superstar packs a punch.
The teaser begins with Salman walking into a hall decorated with guns and artifacts. The superstar’s back faces the camera with the hall dimly lit. The knights in armour are soon revealed to be assassins.
Salman goes on to say, “Suna hai bahut saare log mere peecche pade hain. Bas mere mudne ki der hai”.
The assassins deploy their weapons and attack Salman but he tackles all of them, setting the stage for a high-voltage showdown. Salman brims with charisma, power, and his trademark swag in the teaser.
The film marks his return to the big screen after more than a year. The superstar was last seen in ‘Tiger 3’. The teaser is further elevated by an electrifying background score composed by the acclaimed Santosh Narayanan, whose music perfectly complements the intensity and grandeur of the visuals.
The film is directed by A.R. Murugadoss, who is known for ‘Ghajini’, and also stars Rashmika Mandanna opposite Salman Khan. ‘Sikandar’ marks the reunion of Salman Khan and Sajid Nadiadwala after their 2014 blockbuster, ‘Kick’, which also marked the directorial debut for the latter.
Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, ‘Sikandar’ promises to be a cinematic spectacle that blends action, drama, and emotion.
‘Sikandar’ is being developed with a strong focus on engaging storytelling and dynamic performances, setting the stage for yet another memorable Salman Khan performance.
Meanwhile, Rashmika, also has ‘Chhaava’ in the pipeline opposite Vicky Kaushal. In ‘Chhaava’, the actress will be seen in the role of Yeshubai Bhosle, wife of Sambhaji Maharaj along with Akshaye Khanna, Ashutosh Rana and Divya Dutta in supporting roles.
