Owaisi demands repeal of CAA & NRC, warns of protests

The All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) president Asaduddin Owaisi has demanded that the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and the National Register of Citizens (NRC) should be withdrawn at the earliest.
He warned that if the CAA and NRC are not scrapped, protesters will “take to streets and turn it into Shaheen Bagh”.
“CAA is against the Constitution. If the BJP government does not take back this law, we will come out on the streets and another Shaheen Bagh will come up here,” Owaisi said, addressing a public meeting in Barabanki on Sunday evening.
The AIMIM chief also launched an attack against Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
“Prime Minister Modi is the biggest ‘nautankibaaz’ in the country, and by mistake, he has entered politics, else what would have happened to the people of the film industry. All the awards would have been won by Modi,” Owaisi said.
“After announcing the repeal of three farm laws, the Prime Minister had said that there had been some shortcoming in his ‘tapasya’ (penance). This tells us what a big actor our Prime Minister is,” he added.
Owaisi said the real ‘tapasya’ was done by the farmers in their protests during which around 750 of them died.
The AIMIM chief claimed that PM Modi announced the repeal of the farm laws to appease farmers in view of the upcoming Assembly elections.
The AIMIM chief called on the Muslim voters to unite and said, “When Thakurs, Brahmins, Yadavs, Kurmis can become strong by uniting, why can’t you?”
He further hit out at the BJP government and held them responsible for the backwardness and unemployment of the Muslim community.
He said, “Today the Ansari community and Qureshi community are on the verge of ruin in UP. The government has left them unemployed. Meat shops of the Qureshi community were locked. Slaughter houses have closed. The income of weavers has decreased. The government is just pretending. No work has been done for this society.”

‘Our Chief Minister Is Tees Maar Khan’: Samajwadi Party Chief Akhilesh Yadav Slams CM Yogi Adityanath Over Holi-Namaaz Row

Lucknow: Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Akhilesh Yadav on Thursday called the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath a “Tees Maar Khan”. He further stated that CM Yogi loves the number of thirty as he uses it in almost every case.
His reaction follows the decision by the local administration in Uttar Pradesh after which several mosques were covered with tarpaulin sheets ahead of the Holi festival. The move aims to prevent any untoward incidents and maintain communal harmony during the celebrations.
The SP chief stated that people from all the communities have always celebrated all festivals together.
Addressing a press conference, Yadav said, “I extend my heartfelt greetings on the occasion of Holi to people of the country. This is a festival of colours which brings joy and happiness. We wish that the Ganga-Yamuna tradition of our country flourishes and people lives together with brotherhood as they have lived since many years. People from all communities have celebrated all festival together. We are connected through festivals and businesses associated with it…”
“On the other hand, our Chief Minister is Tees Maar Khan, because he loves the number of thirty. The number of people died was 30, the economic activity amounted to Rs 30 crores… Nobody can give us the account of Tees Maar Khan except our Chief Minister…” he added.
Speaking on the issue of demolition, the SP chief said that the Supreme Court given directions from time to time but the government is not ready to listen. He further hoped that the Supreme Court would give justice in this matter.
“The Supreme Court has given directions various times. they have given many important observations on the bulldozer action from time to time. Still, the government is not ready to listen. I hope that the Supreme Court will give justice. Even the people are noticing that Constitution is not safe under BJP rule,” he said.
Hitting out further, the SP chief said that the BJP will lose “very badly” in the 2027 assembly elections of the state.
He said, “Many things are covered up to hide other things. CM Yogi is saying that the youth got employment by riding their bikes in Prayagraj. If it is so, the, when did government decide to use personal vehicle as commercial? Does this mean that now after 144 years these youths will get employment? No one lies more than the BJP and from time to time some of their allies also support them. They lost in 2024 Lok Sabha elections but they will lose very badly in 2027 elections.”

Maulana Shahabuddin’s question on Minister Sanjay Nishad’s Holi statement, where should Muslims go after leaving the country

Lucknow, March 13: All India Muslim Jamaat’s National President Maulana Mufti Shahabuddin Razvi’s reaction has come to the fore on Uttar Pradesh government minister Sanjay Nishad’s statement about playing Holi. In fact, Minister Sanjay Nishad said that those who avoid colors should leave the country. Maulana Shahabuddin has condemned this statement of the minister.
The Maulana said that no minister should make such a statement and the minister does not have the right to make such statements to create hatred in the society.
The Maulana further said, “When the minister took oath, he did not swear that those who avoid colors will have to leave the country. He had sworn that there will be justice for everyone and no one will be discriminated against.” He asked that the minister should tell where 30 crore Muslims should go after leaving the country.
Maulana said that now the minister is working against the oath, which does not suit him. He asked whether the minister wants to create riots in the country by making such statements. Does he want to spread the poison of hatred among people? He demanded legal action against such people and said that such people should be removed from the post of minister.
Earlier, Maulana Shahabuddin Razvi said that the holy month of Ramzan is going on. Along with this, preparations for Holi have also started. He said that the month of Ramzan teaches patience. Allah has said in the Quran Sharif that God is with those who are patient. Our Prophet(S.A.W) has said in Hadith Sharif, “A good Muslim is one whose hands, feet, tongue do not cause any trouble to anyone else.” I appeal that Muslims should follow all these things.
