Federation of Retail Traders (FRT) had filed a petition in the Bombay High Court against this order in February 2022. The court dismissed the petition. A bench of Justice Gautam S. Patel and Justice Madhav J. Jamda had imposed a fine of Rs 25,000 on the petitioner organization.
