Mumbai news: 2 men get into scuffle in inebriated state at Bhayandar railway yard; 1 injured

In the early hours of May 14th, an intense argument between two individuals aboard a local train at Bhayandar railway yard resulted in one person sustaining a head injury. The incident occurred around 1:45 am after the train had reached the yard.
The involved parties have been identified as Ram Khelawan, a 32-year-old resident of Kamla Nagar, Mahim, and Suraj Paswan, a 28-year-old resident of Shanti Nagar, Dahisar.
Dispute arose between them over mobile phone
According to reports, Ram Khelawan and Suraj Paswan had fallen asleep while under the influence of alcohol and unintentionally ended up at the railway yard. Upon waking up, a dispute arose between them over a mobile phone, which escalated to the point where Ram Khelawan suffered a head injury while disembarking from the train.
The incident drew the attention of on-duty RPF constables Pramod Kumar and Nooruddin Sheikh, who promptly notified their superior. Ram Khelawan, the injured individual, was taken to Bhayandar station, where Dr. Alam Shah, the attending doctor at the emergency medical room, provided medical care for his injuries, according to a senior railway official.
Individuals were escorted to the GRP post for further investigation
As the incident fell within the jurisdiction of the Government Railway Police (GRP), both individuals were escorted to the GRP post for further investigation. During questioning by GRP constable Satish Awad, it was revealed that neither of the individuals possessed a valid railway ticket or travel authorization letter. Additionally, the constable stated that both parties denied having any personal disputes.
In the absence of a formal complaint from either party, GRP constable Satish Awad opted to resolve the issue through mutual understanding. Consequently, both individuals were subsequently released, as confirmed by a senior railway official.

Rabat, September 9: The death toll from the powerful 6.8-magnitude earthquake that struck central Morocco has increased to 632, with 329 injured persons, reported on Saturday. Morocco’s Interior Ministry said in a statement that the fatalities were reported from the provinces and municipalities of Al-Haouz, Marrakesh, Ouarzazate, Azilal, Chichaoua and Taroudant.
The epicentre was in the High Atlas Mountains
According to the US Geological Survey, the epicentre was in the High Atlas Mountains, 71 km south-west of Marrakesh, at a depth of 18.5 km
The tremors were also reportedly felt in the capital Rabat
The quake struck at 11.11 p.m. and videos on social media showed people fleeing on the roads, damaged buildings and rubble-strewn streets. The tremors were also reportedly felt in the capital Rabat, some 350 km away from the epicentre, as well as the cities of Casablanca and Essaouira.

Gujarat: 9 Including 2 Policemen Killed After Jaguar Car Rams Into People On Iskcon Flyover In Ahmedabad; Post-Accident Visuals Surface

Nine people were killed and close to 13 injured in an accident that took place Thursday morning on a flyover near ISKCON temple on Sarkhej-Gandhinagar (SG) Highway in Ahmedabad. The accident occured around 1 am on Thursday (July 20). “Last night a Jaguar car killed 9 people and injured 10-11 people. The driver has been admitted to hospital and as per doctor’s advice, we will arrest him,” said DCP Traffic West Nita Desai.
“Nine people including two policemen have died in the accident. No one is admitted here,” said Kripa Patel, Medical Officer, Sola Civil Hospital, Ahmedabad.
Shocking visuals from the accident spot emerged, which showed the car completely dismantled.
The accident took place when it was still dark, showed images from the accident spot.

UP: 2 Killed, 13 Injured After Under Construction House Collapses In Bulandshahr

Fifteen persons, including five children of the same family, were buried when the lintel of an under construction house fell down on Wednesday in Uttar Pardesh’s Bulandshahr. The accident took place in Mawai, Narsena police station area. Thirteen persons were rescued and two, seriously injured, died in the accident.
The deceased have been identified as Kuldeep and Dharmendra. Those who have been seriously injured have been referred to the Meerut Medical College. According to reports, the house of Harcharan Singh was being constructed. The old lintel was cast on the first floor of the house and the second floor was being constructed. At around 3 AM, the lintel put on the second floor fell on the roof of the first floor and the lintel on the first floor also crashed under its weight.
Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Arvind Kumar Singh, Circle Officer (CO) Bhaskar Kumar Mishra and the rescue team reached the spot and the rescue operation was carried out with the help of villagers.
