Made with 100 per cent cotton, EK’s three collections Charbagh, Siyahi and Kairi include products likekurtas, bottoms, and dupattas.
They embody EK’s ethos of creating products that bring a sense of emotional wellness and positive energy to users. Like other EK products, its clothing line is crafted by local Indian artisans, in a way that blends traditional Indian craftsmanship with modern design elements.
The Charbagh collection features beautiful floral and nature-themed prints representing serenity. The Siyahi print, the Indigo collection, brings joy and the Kairi collection has raw mango-themed prints evoking relaxation.
Speaking about the new launch, Ektaa said: “I am extremely thrilled to be growing EK – a brand I have co-created with Roposo – with the launch of our new apparel line. I am truly grateful for the success that EK has seen so far.”
“Some of EK’s products, such as copper bottles, ran out of stock within the first month of their launch, and I was elated to see that one of the evil eye necklaces from the EK jewelry collection became a huge hit, especially after my friend and television star Karan Kundra gifted it to Tejaswi Prakash. I hope that consumers will extend the same love to our apparel line as well.”
Mansi Jain, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Roposo added, “EK was the very first D2C brand we launched last year with the multifaceted Ektaa R. Kapoor under the Glance Collective umbrella. It is exhilarating to see it take the next step in a matter of months with the launch of the apparel line.”

Farhan Akhtar On Jee Le Zaraa: ‘Hollywood Strike Has Put Priyanka Chopra’s Dates Into A Huge Tizzy’

Mumbai: Waiting for Priyanka Chopra, Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif’s ‘Jee Le Zaraa’ to go on floors? If yes, then you will be left a little disappointed. In an interview with US-based publication Variety, director Farhan Akhtar shared that the film is on hold at the moment. “We just have issues with dates, and the actor’s strike that’s happened has put Priyanka’s dates into a huge tizzy with what can happen and what can’t, so I’ve started genuinely believing that that film now has a destiny of its own. It’ll happen when it has to, we’ll see,” Farhan told Variety.
Farhan referred to an ongoing writers and actors’ strike in Hollywood.
The film promises to be another tale of friendship following the lineage of ‘Dil Chahta Hai’ and ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’. The upcoming film will star Alia Bhatt, Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif in the lead roles.
Farhan announced ‘Jee Le Zaraa’ in August 2021.
“Did someone say road trip? Thrilled to announce my next film as director and what better day than 20 years of ‘Dil Chahta Hai’ to do it. #JeeLeZaraa with @priyankachopra #KatrinaKaif @aliaa08. I cannot wait to get this show on the road,” Farhan had posted on Twitter.
Farhan has penned the film’s script with Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti.

Tamannaah Bhatia & Divya Dutta Visit New Parliament, Laud Women’s Reservation Bill

Actor Tamannaah Bhatia on Thursday (September 21) visited the new Parliament building and hailed the Women’s Reservation Bill. Speaking to the media, Tamannaah said, “This bill will inspire common people to join politics.”
Actor Divya Dutta also shared her views on the bill. “This (Women’s Reservation Bill) is a big initiative. It feels really good. The women are being brought to the forefront. To witness a special session of Parliament is an experience in itself,” she said.
Union Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal moved the Women’s Reservation Bill in the Rajya Sabha on Thursday.
“Through the Constitutional Amendment Bill that I have brought today, a section will be inserted in Article 330, Article 332, and Article 334. Through these, 1/3rd of the seats will be reserved in the Lok Sabha and all State Assemblies of the country. This is a major step,” Meghwal said in the Rajya Sabha.
The Lok Sabha scripted history on Wednesday as it passed the Bill reserving a third or 33 per cent of seats for women in national and state legislatures with an overwhelming majority. The Bill seeks to grant one-third of its seats to women in both the Lok Sabha and state assemblies.
The ‘Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam’ is the first bill passed by Lok Sabha during the special session after it shifted to the new Parliament building on Tuesday. The Rajya Sabha had earlier passed the Women’s Reservation Bill in 2010 during the Congress-led UPA government but it was not taken up in the Lok Sabha and subsequently lapsed in the lower House of Parliament.
