The king of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan is celebrating his 61st birthday on Monday, and marking the special occasion, actor Ajay Devgn treated the netizens with an old picture of the two.

The still showed both Ajay and SRK posing in black leather jackets and blue denims.

“Picture purani hai aur dosti bhi… Happy Birthday, Shah Rukh! (Red heart emoji) (sic)”, Ajay wished Shah Rukh.

Apart from Ajay, veteran actor Anil Kapoor also dropped a string of throwback memories with SRK on his birthday.

The ‘Animal’ actor mentioned on his official handle, “Happy Birthday, Shahrukh! (Red heart emoji) Years of laughter, countless memories and you haven’t lost an ounce of that charm or madness and clearly neither of us is counting the years. Here’s to many more. Talking about the professional association of Anil and Shah Rukh, their most noteworthy collaboration is the 1995 release ‘Trimurti’, featuring Anil, Shah Rukh, and Jackie Shroff as the core cast.

Meanwhile, marking his 61st birthday, Shah Rukh unveiled the primary track from his highly awaited actioner, ‘King’. The track titled ‘Tu Mil Jaaye’ has been picturized on SRK and Deepika Padukone, where the two showcase their electrifying chemistry yet again.

Sung by Arijit Singh, the romantic number also includes Ed Sheeran’s distinct rap style. Ed Sheeran has also written the English rap. Composed by Sachin-Jigar, the lyrics for the track have been written by Kumaar.

Piyush-Shazia have directed the graceful moves for ‘Tu Mil Jaaye’.

Made under the direction of Siddharth Anand, the project has been jointly produced by Red Chillies Entertainment in collaboration with Marflix Pictures.

Led by Shah Rukh, the stellar cast of the drama also includes Suhana Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Jaideep Ahlawat, Abhay Verma, and Arshad Warsi in pivotal roles, along with others.

Actor Zaheer Iqbal has opened up about the challenges of playing an obsessive lover in ‘Tu Hai Meri Kiran.’

In an exclusive quote shared with media, he called it an exciting experience that required him to explore the character’s emotional complexities. Zaheer said the role was not just about portraying intensity but also understanding the character’s mindset, emotions, and the motivations behind his actions.

Reflecting on the experience, Zaheer shared, “As actors, we always want to surprise our audiences and give them something they haven’t experienced from us before. With Tu Hai Meri Kiran, I genuinely wanted to explore a side of me that audiences haven’t seen before. Playing an obsessive lover was an exciting challenge because the character comes with several emotional layers.”

“It wasn’t just about portraying intensity; it was about understanding the character’s mindset, his emotions and what drives his actions. I wanted to approach the role with conviction and make sure that even the most complicated emotions felt authentic on screen. The love and appreciation the character has received since the film’s release is extremely encouraging. Written and directed by Karan Rawal, ‘Tu Hai Meri Kiran’ features Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal in the lead roles. The movie features Ankit Gupta, Sherlin Seth, Zarina Wahab, and Purnendu Bhattacharya in supporting roles.

The romantic comedy was released theatrically on October 23, 2026. “Tu Hai Meri Kiran” unfolded across two timelines, 2016 and 2026. It follows Kiran (Sonakshi Sinha), a bestselling author who discovers an old flip phone and connects with Samar (Zaheer Iqbal), a man living ten years in the past. Their unusual connection takes a dark turn when Samar becomes obsessed with Kiran and begins changing events in the past, putting her present life at risk.

A day after the news of the sudden demise of filmmaker Sanjay Gupta left the entire film industry in a massive shock, actor Ajay Devgn took to his official X (Previously known as Twitter) handle and mourned the loss of the ‘Kaante’ maker with an emotional post.

Ajay shared that Sanjay Gupta still had a lot of cinema left in him, with many stories still untold.

Praying for strength to the grieving family, Ajay penned on the micro-blogging site, “Gone far too soon. Sanjay had so much more cinema left in him, so many more years and stories ahead. Truly heartbreaking….praying for strength and peace for his family. (sic)”

Sanjay Gupta passed away on October 30 at his Mumbai residence at the age of 59. The filmmaker reportedly slipped and sustained a fatal head injury on Friday night. At the time, the other family members were asleep; hence, the director was discovered on Saturday morning.

The last rites of the filmmaker Sanjay Gupta took place at Pawan Hans Crematorium in Mumbai on Saturday. Many from the film fraternity such as Abhishek Bachchan, Rakesh Roshan, Fardeen Khan, Manoj Bajpayee, Rajat Bedi, Ashoke Pandit, Milap Zaveri, Rohit Roy, Ronit Roy and Gulshan Grover attended the funeral and paid their last respects to the renowned director.

Many also used social media to offer their final tribute to the ‘Musafir’ maker.

On Sunday, Kajol shared on her official handle, “Heartbreaking to hear this. Sending love and immense strength to the family through this loss. Rest in peace.”

Suniel Shetty also tweeted, “Still trying to come to terms with this news. We’ve spent so many days together, made films, shared laughs, arguments, ideas and memories that will stay with me forever. Never imagined I’d be writing something like this for you. Rest easy Sanj. You’ll be missed more than words can say.”
