Case of attack on Uddhav Thackeray's convoy in the police station, threat to kill by entering the house, Chief Minister Shinde also reacted on this matter

Mumbai: The politics of the state has heated up after the convoy of former Maharashtra CM and Shiv Sena (UBT) Chief Uddhav Thackeray was attacked in Thane. Some people attacked with cow dung in Thane on Saturday. Bangles and tomatoes were thrown at the convoy. The police have registered a case against 44 workers of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena for the attack on the convoy of the former CM, however, even after this, threats have been received from MNS. MNS has said that this was a response to the attack by Shiv Sainiks against Raj Thackeray. If anyone goes against MNS Chief Raj Thackeray, they will enter his house and kill him. Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde’s reaction to cow dung and bangles being thrown at former CM Uddhav Thackeray has also come to light. Chief Minister Shinde has said that this was just a reaction to the action.

Politics heated up over attack
Politics has intensified over this attack on Uddhav’s convoy. Shiv Sena (UBT) spokesperson Anand Dubey said, now it is understood why Raj Thackeray and his party are called betel nut. The way Uddhav Thackeray’s convoy was attacked in Thane, it also raises questions on the government as to why it could not provide security to the former CM of Maharashtra? Shiv Sena (UBT) has demanded the resignation of Maharashtra Home Minister Devendra Fadnavis. The party said, law and order has collapsed in the state. If such attacks happen in the home district of CM Eknath Shinde, then it is clear that a contract has been taken for this. Eknath Shinde’s government has completely failed. Devendra Fadnavis should resign. MNS has hit back at Shiv Sena’s attack on UBT.Thane-Palghar District President Avinash Jadhav said that some Shiv Sainiks had tried to agitate in front of Raj Thackeray’s car. Betel nut was thrown at them. Thane Police has registered a case against 44 MNS workers. Thane District President Avinash Jadhav is the main accused.

Sanjay Raut roared, CM took a dig

Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut said that those who attacked Uddhav Thackeray’s convoy were people of ‘Ahmed Shah Abdali’. Ahmed Shah Abdali is having fun by giving betel nuts from Delhi. Abdali has given contract to many big leaders. His reference was towards Amit Shah. Raut said, wait for two months, we will show you the reaction of the action. Maharashtra Chief Minister and Shiv Sena chief Eknath Shinde has said that the targeting of Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray’s convoy in Thane is a reaction to action.

Shinde asked who started this? Shiv Sena (UBT) workers had targeted Raj Thackeray’s convoy in Aurangabad. He said that those who have abandoned the ideas of Shiv Sena founder Bal Thackeray and Shiv Sena leader Anand Dighe will have to face such circumstances. On Friday, Shiv Sena (UBT) supporters threw betel nuts at the convoy of Uddhav’s cousin Raj Thackeray in Beed city.

Mumbai: Advocate Prathamesh Shrikrishna Prabhutendolkar – a daily commuter – has written an open letter on Thursday, on behalf of hundreds of fellow passengers from the Dahanu, Vaitarna, and Palghar region.

The letter, addressed to the Prime Minister’s Office, the Union Railway Minister, and the Chief Minister of Maharashtra, highlights the lack of adequate local train services along the Dahanu Road–Virar corridor.

Prabhutendolkar’s letter sheds light on the daily hardships faced by commuters, calling out the overcrowded trains, long wait times, and lack of basic amenities. He said that despite being a growing suburban belt with rising population and economic activity, the region continues to be neglected in terms of public transport infrastructure.

“Commuters from these areas heavily rely on the suburban railway to travel for work, education, and essential needs. The limited number of services, they say, is affecting their livelihoods and causing immense stress and inconvenience,” stated the letter.
