‘Spider-Man’ Spotted Begging At Kalyan Railway Station

An influencer posed as a man begging in a Spiderman costume at Kalyan Junction. The incident was staged for a reel, which the influencer posted on Instagram sooner. It showed ‘Spiderman From Mumbai’ sitting outside the railway station and seeking money from passersby. The caption of the reel, read in a beggar tone’s, “Spider-Man ko dedo bhai koi.”

The video opened showing the man sitting below the stairs of the railway station. He was seen wearing a Spider-Man costume to capture the attention of train passengers towards him. he repeatedly extended his hand forward begging for some money while being seated at the railway premises.

It wasn’t a real case of someone begging by wearing the superhero costume, but an act performed by the Instagram-based content creator for the craze of reels. As he performed as a beggar there, many people looked at him and one of them also approached him with some money. The reel recorded people at the railway station witnessing the reel act. One of the persons there stepped into the video to offer a coin to the ‘Spider-Man’ beggar.

This video is now going viral on Instagram. It was uploaded on the online platform in August, however, it has reached netizens and caught their attention in the recent days. So far, the reel, which shows the influencer posing as a beggar dressed up in a superhero costume, has attracted 2.8 million views and more than one lakh likes. People reacted to the video and hilariously wrote, “Spider man no money at home.” “We got Spider-Man in kalyan before GTA,” they added.

Mumbai : Kirit Somaiya demands action against illegal schools in Govandi Shivaji Nagar, allegation of school jihad, tension in the area

Mumbai: BJP leader Kirit Somaiya has demanded action against 64 illegal schools in Govind Shivaji Nagar Begun, Mumbai. During his visit to Govind, Kirit Somaiya has also inspected the illegal school in which students study. The condition of the school is very bad and due to its dilapidation, there is a risk of accidents because the four-storey illegal school houses classes from class 1 to 4. In such a situation, if an accident happens to the school, there is a risk of loss of life. Kirit Somaiya, while addressing the journalists after visiting the schools, said that these illegal schools are on government land and in such a situation, these schools are occupied by the Muslim mafia. This is a kind of land jihad. He said that a complaint has been filed with the Municipal Corporation Education Department against the way this school has been constructed and action will be taken against these illegal schools next week. Today, BMCM East Ward staff and education department officers were also present with Kret Soumya. Kret Soumya instructed the education department officer to find out how this illegal school was granted permission from the education department in this way. The concerned department has assured to take action against it. The building in which this school is operating is in a very dangerous condition. When Kret Soumya was asked if he is running a movement against Muslims, he said that his movement is against the land mafia and people with jihadist mindset. He said that the schools in which children are studying belong to the Muslim land mafia and any major accident can happen in it. In such a situation, who will be responsible for it? He also asked the education department about this, to which the education department officer said that a notice has been sent to the school administration in this regard, but no response has been received, after which an order has been issued for action in this regard by Monday and Saturday. In addition, Kret Soumya asked the BMC staff officers how the school was built here and then demanded action. In view of Kret Soumya’s visit, the police had made strict security arrangements. Tension had spread in the area in the wake of Kret Soumya’s visit. According to the BMC, 164 schools are illegal in the city and these are unsponsored schools. The highest number of illegal schools are in Govind (64) and Kurla (12), including four Marathi medium schools. Kret Soumya demanded action against the school, after which when he was asked what will happen to the future of these children if the school is closed, he said that the education department will transfer these children to other schools.

Mumbai Police arrests 367 absconding and wanted accused

Mumbai: Police has claimed to have arrested 367 wanted criminals, including 18 who were wanted for 20 years. All these wanted criminals were declared absconders. In this, an accused wanted since 1987 has also been arrested in Azad Maidan police station, similarly an accused wanted since 1988 has also been arrested in MN Joshi Marg. These accused have been arrested from January 1, 2026 to March 31, 2026. The police have arrested these accused in this special operation to search for the absconding criminals, which is highly successful. This operation has been carried out on the instructions of Mumbai Police Commissioner Deven Bharti.

Public representatives should cooperate for effective implementation of SIR program in Mumbai: Municipal Commissioner Ashwini Bhide

Mumbai: As per the instructions of the Commission of India, the Special In-depth Review (SIR) programme is being implemented for the electoral rolls in Mumbai city and suburban districts of Mumbai. District Election Officer and Municipal Commissioner Ashwini Bhide has appealed to the public representatives and political parties to cooperate in implementing this programme in Mumbai in a very effective manner.
In connection with the Special In-depth Review (SIR) programme, a meeting was held with representatives of various political parties at the Mumbai Municipal Corporation headquarters today (April 24, 2026). Leader of Opposition Kishori Pednekar, group leaders of various parties, representatives of various political parties were present at the Mumbai Municipal Corporation House. Additional Municipal Commissioner (Western Suburbs) Dr. Vipin Sharma, Additional Municipal Commissioner (City) Dr. Ashwini Joshi, Additional Municipal Commissioner (Projects) Abhijeet Bangar, Additional Municipal Commissioner (Eastern Suburbs) Dr. Avinash Dhakne, District Collector (Mumbai City) Aanchal Goel, Joint Commissioner of Municipal Commissioner (Mumbai City) and Local Government Commissioner etc. were present.
At the beginning of the meeting, detailed information about the Special In-Depth Review Programme was provided to the representatives of political parties through a computer presentation. Apart from this, various issues were discussed in detail.
District Election Officer and Municipal Commissioner Ashwini Bhide said that earlier a Special In-Depth Review was conducted in Maharashtra in the year 2002, i.e. about 24 years ago. The change in the voter list is necessary due to migration, double registration, illegal registration of dead voters or foreign nationals. In this regard, a Special In-depth Review (SIR) programme is being implemented in the Brihanmumbai region along with other parts of Maharashtra. This Special In-depth Review (SIR) programme will be implemented in a total of six phases, namely, pre-review period, counting period, preparation of AASD (Already Enrolled, Absent, Transferred, Dead) list, publication of draft voter list, claims and objections period and publication of final voter list. The work of voter mapping in the Brihanmumbai region (Mumbai city and Mumbai suburbs) is underway under the pre-review period. Accordingly, voters in the Special In-depth Review 2002 electoral roll are being mapped in the BLO app by searching the details in the 2024 electoral roll. Meanwhile, the cooperation of political parties is important for more effective implementation of the Special In-depth Review (SIR) programme in the Mumbai region. The Municipal Corporation has appointed Polling Station Level Officers (BLOs) for this work. On this basis, Mrs. Ashwini Bhide also appealed to the political parties to appoint Polling Station Level Assistants (BLAs) in the respective local bodies so that the revision process can be completed more efficiently, transparently and expeditiously.
