Pune: In a shocking incident in Baramati on Monday, a grade 12th student was brutally murdered by his classmate on the campus of Tuljaram Chaturchand College. Both the victim and accused were minor and the police have arrested the suspect, reports say.

The incident took place on Monday morning around 11.30 am after a heated argument between the two classmates. In the rage of anger one of them attacked another by a sharp weapon (koyta) after which the victim was taken to a nearby hospital. However, he was declared dead on arrival by the doctors. Police soon reached the spot and arrested the attackers, reports say, adding that one more classmate was involved in the attack.

The incident has sent shockwaves across Maharashtra. MP from Baramati and NCP (SP) Supriya Sule slammed the government for the crippling law and order in the state amid rising crimes. “A youth was killed in a broad daylight in the Baramati college is shocking and unfortunate. The law order is deteriorating day by day and criminals have are left with no fear,” Sule posted on X.

She added that, the incidents of people roaming around with a sword, koyta or pistols have increased. The Gundaraj in Maharashtra has because of failure of Home Minister Devendra Fadnavis, taking our state years back,” the NCP (SP) added.

Further investigation in case is underway.

Mumbai: Missing Minor Girl Who Was Located By Crime Branch Says She Was Raped By Father; Tardeo Police Register Case

Mumbai: Mumbai Crime Branch’s Unit 3 successfully located a missing 17-year-old girl. However, during the investigation, Police Constable Vinod Parab, who handled the case with dedication and treated the girl like his own daughter, uncovered shocking details about the girl’s disappearance. After a thorough inquiry, it was revealed that the girl’s father was raping her for 5 years.

After this shocking information, the Tardeo Police Station has registered a case against the father under multiple sections, including Sections 64(f), 64(i), 64(m), 74, 65(1), 115(2) of BNS and sections 4,6,8 and 12 of the POCSO Act (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences). The father has been arrested and further investigation is underway.

This case highlights the disturbing circumstances behind the girl’s decision to leave home, and the crime branch unit 3 has arrested the accused father from the satrasta circle. Yesterday late night accused was handed over to the Tardeo police station.

On October 2, 2024, between 7:30 AM and 8:30 AM, a complaint was filed by 46 years old father, regarding the abduction of his 17-year-old daughter. According to the complaint, an unknown individual lured the girl away from their home, deceiving her and taking her from her father’s lawful custody. Based on this complaint, a kidnapping case was registered on October 2, 2024.

During the parallel investigation of crime branch unit 3, police constables Ghatkar and Parab from the concerned unit 3 received information that led them to the Mahalaxmi Railway Station area, where they successfully located the missing girl. Further investigation is ongoing to ascertain the details surrounding the abduction.

About The Case

The 46-year-old accused is a native of UP and has been living in the Mahalakshmi area for the past several years. The accused, who worked as a gardener at Mahalakshmi Race Course, had brought his unborn daughter to Mumbai three to four months ago from the village. A 17-year-old girl ran away from home on the morning of October 2 due to her father’s sexual harassment.

A case of kidnapping was registered at Tardeo Police Station after a complaint was filed by the father of the 17-year-old girl between 7:30 and 8:30 AM. Then police constable Vinod Parab of Unit Three and Ghatkar found the 17-year-old girl at Mahalakshmi railway station.

The investigation did not stop at this point, police constable Vinod Parab very skillfully dug out the reason behind the girl leaving the house. At that time, the victim girl revealed the shocking fact that her father had been sexually abusing her for the past five years. Then Assistant Police Inspector Sameer Mujawar of Unit 3 and his team arrested the accused from Sat Rasta Circle on October 2 in the evening.

The 46-year-old accused lives with his wife in the Mahalakshmi area of ​​Mumbai and the 17-year-old daughter lives with her grandparents at her native place in Uttar Pradesh. The girl completed her education up to class 11 in the village and was a partial dropout.

The girl gave shocking information to the police that her father was sexually abusing her even after going to the village. Also, the investigation revealed that the girl’s mother was taking sleeping pills and the accused was giving his wife too many sleeping pills and sexually assaulting his own daughter. The girl’s father had threatened to kill her if she would reveal this to anyone. Therefore for 5 years, the girl endured sexual abuse.

Badlapur Sexual Assault Case: Thane Crime Branch Detains Chairman & Secretary Of School Where Two 4-Year-Old Girls Were Assaulted By Janitor, Akshay Shinde

Thane: The Thane Crime Branch on Wednesday detained chairman Uday Kotwal and secretary Tushar Apte of the school in Badlapur where two four-year-old girls were sexually assaulted by janitor Akshay Shinde, who was recently killed by the police.

Commissioner of Police from Thane, Ashutosh Dumbre, confirmed they have been detained. Both have been handed over to the SIT team for further inquiry.

Case Registered Against Trustees & Officials Of The Badlapur School

A case was lodged against the trustees and officials of the Badlapur School under relevant sections of POCSO for allegedly failing to report the sexual assault incident involving the two minor girls. The SIT has filed two chargesheets in this regard.

The anticipatory bail plea was filed by Kotwal and Apte in the Bombay High Court where it was rejected. The two had been avoiding the SIT and the crime branch police for several days.

Deputy Commissioner of Police from Thane Crime, Shivraj Patil, said, “We received information that they were expected to arrive in Karjat to meet a person regarding their bail. Consequently, we formed a team of crime branch personnel and laid a trap at Karjat and detained them. We brought them to Thane and have now handed them over to the SIT team for further investigation.”

Mira Bhayandar: MBVV Cops Arrest UP-Based Criminals In Nallasopara, Seize Country-Made Pistol And Live Cartridges

Mira Bhayandar: The crime detection unit attached to the Pelhar police station have apprehended three Men who were found to be in possession of a country-made pistol and five live cartridges in Nallasopara. The trio turned out to be hardcore criminals from Uttar Pradesh who had apparently arrived in the city to commit some serious offence.

Acting on a tip-off, personnel from the crime detection unit led by PSI-Tukaram Bhosale under the supervision of senior police inspector-Jitendra Vankotti laid a trap and nabbed the trio after a hot chase in the Om Sai Nagar area of Nallasopara (east).

The trio who have been identified as- Krupashankar Bhullan Yadav alias Gorakh (27), Sarvesh Ramjit Yadav (27) and Rohit Janardhan Yadav (28)-all hailing from Jaunpur in Uttar Pradesh. Upon frisking, the trio were found to be in possession of a country-made pistol, five live cartridges and two mobile phones.

With more than two dozen offences including- violent robbery, attempt-to-murder, possession of arms, cheating and extortion registered against him at various police stations including-Kerakat, Jalalpur, Buxa and Line Bazaar in Uttar Pradesh, Kripashankar is said to be the kingpin of the gang who has also been booked under the gangsters and anti-social activities (prevention) act, 1986.

Five offences have been registered against his accomplice Sarvesh Yadav. “Detailed investigations including checking call detail records were underway to ascertain the motive behind the trio’s arrival in the city with a firearm.” said Vankotti.

Meanwhile an offence under the relevant sections of the Arms Act and Maharashtra Police Act has been registered against the trio who have been remanded to police custody till 3, October after they were produced before the court. PSI Tukaram Bhople is conducting further investigations.
