Bihar election results restore people’s confidence in NDA: MP Shrikant Shinde

Published

on

Mumbai: Shiv Sena leader and MP Shrikant Shinde expressed happiness over the NDA’s victory in the Bihar elections and said that the historic victory in the Bihar elections is a testament to the unwavering faith of the people under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The people of Bihar have completely rejected the forces that foster corruption, anarchy and jungle raj. The people have chosen Mangal Raj, not jungle raj. The Congress and its allies, which relied on the politics of caste and appeasement, have been completely defeated. The Congress’s fall to single digits exposes the bitter truth that Rahul Gandhi’s politics has no impact in a large and conscious state. His caste, communal card and whatever narrative he has created have all failed miserably. The poor, the backward, women, youth, farmers and workers of Bihar have voted overwhelmingly in favour of the NDA. This public trust is a decisive affirmation of Nitish Kumar’s clean image, good governance and people-oriented politics. No matter how many attacks the opposition makes, the people have chosen the path of stability, security and development.

The wave of massive government formation in Bihar proves that India wants change, but the change must be from anarchy to stability, from corruption to accountability, from jungle raj to good governance. And this change can only be delivered by the NDA.

It is unfortunate that the Leader of the Opposition tried to derail the election on an issue like SIR and tried to damage the reputation of a prestigious institution like the Election Commission. The people of Bihar have completely rejected this irresponsible politics. They have chosen democracy, not chaos.
Bihar has given a clear, unambiguous and historic message that NDA is the future. Congress and its allies deserve to lead, govern or have the trust of the people.

I congratulate the people and voters of Bihar. I wish the new NDA government in Bihar all the best for its future work and journey.

Mumbai : BJP leader Naveen Rana’s meeting with Nationalist Congress Party president Sunitra Pawar has sparked fresh debate in political circles. There are speculations that the meeting was held to deliberate on the Rajya Sabha seat that fell vacant after Sunitra Pawar resigned as an MP. After Vikram Kakde, who is outside the party, was nominated for the Pune Local Authority constituency of the Legislative Council, preparations are being made to send Naveen Rana, who has now joined the BJP, to the Rajya Sabha, a debate that has angered several senior leaders in the NCP.

However, after the discussion of Navneet Rana’s name started, an open discussion has started that the influence of MP Partha Pawar’s group on the decision-making process in the party has increased. It is also being said that Praful Patel is not very active in the party after his name was removed from the post of National Executive President. It is also being said that Sunil Tatkre is also angry and the number of angry leaders in the party is increasing. The last date for filing nominations for this Rajya Sabha seat is June 8, so various leaders in the party have started lobbying for this seat and efforts to get nomination are going on rapidly. After all, the focus of political circles is on who will give the party a candidate.

Navneet Rana, who was elected as an independent candidate with the support of the Nationalist Congress Party in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, joined the BJP in 2024. However, there are talks about her political revival after her defeat in the Lok Sabha elections. It is also said that she has recently contacted some senior BJP leaders. However, it is known that she was advised to contact them because the vacant Rajya Sabha seat is in the NCP quota. It is believed that she met Sunita Pawar only after that.

Elections have been announced for 24 vacant Rajya Sabha seats and by-elections. This includes 4-4 from Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat and Karnataka, 3-3 from Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh, 2 from Jharkhand and one each from Manipur, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram. This will become clear in the coming days.
