Viral Video: Zomato Lady Abuses Traffic Police, FIR Filed In Vashi Police Station

A video has been viral on social media on Sunday, where an angry Zomato lady can be seen abusing the traffic police cops as they have towed her two wheeler. The lady vehemently abuses the traffic police officials at the middle of the road at Navratna Hotel in Sector 17,Vashi.

The whole incident was recorded by the Traffic police officials who later called the Vashi Police team. With in minutes the police team arrived at the scenario and took the lady to the police station.

Though, the lady claimed that her vehicle was being towed in front of her and she was standing right next to two wheeler.

Meanwhile, Police has registered an FIR against the lady under IPC sections 353, 294, 504, 506 Cr. no. 292/19. Police are doing the further investigation in this matter.

2 killed in Maharashtra steel factory blast

Two persons were killed and one injured seriously when a blast took place in a steel factory in Raigad’s Khopoli area early on Tuesday morning, officials said.

According to Police Inspector Dhanaji Kshirsagar of the Khopoli Police Station, the blast occurred inside the Indian Steel Works Ltd. plant at around 1.15 a.m., with the three workers taking the full impact of the explosion.

“Preliminary investigations suggest it may have been due to a leaking LPG gas cylinder when a process of dissolving raw iron materials was underway,” Kshirsagar told IANS.

The deceased have been identified as Pramod D. Sharma, 30, and Dinesh W. Chavan, 55.

Another co-worker Subhash D. Wanjale was critically hurt and is battling for life in a hospital in Navi Mumbai (Thane).

The impact of the blast was so severe that the bodies of the two victims were blown to bits, and several homes in the vicinity were shaken.

With branches in India, Italy, Turkey, Poland, Lithuania and Singapore, the company is engaged in recycling scrap, ferro-alloys and fluxes into steel bars and wires, and the blast is suspected to have occurred in a gas cylinder during processing.

Greater Noida businessman ‘murdered’ by friends, 2 held

Two ‘friends’ of businessman Aditya Soni, who went missing on July 5, have been arrested for his murder over a petty issue, police said on Tuesday.

The 22–year-old victim was a resident of Greater Noida Gaur Atulayam society. The accused too are from the same residential complex.

According to the police, an altercation had ensued between Aditya and his assailants after he jokingly said something, following which they hit him with a baton and then strangled him.

The body was thrown into a canal near Jamalpur ahead of Shyam Nagar. The vehicle used to dispose the body has been seized.

The police have recovered the deceased’s car and his belongings from the two accused. The body was recovered from the canal with the help of divers.

Another Vikas Dubey accomplice arrested

The Kanpur Police have arrested another member of the Vikas Dubey gang, Shashikant alias Sonu, on Tuesday from the Mela Tiraha area in Kanpur.

Addressing a press conference in Kanpur, Additional Director General (ADG) (Law and order) Prashant Kumar said that on the information provided by Shashikant, the police have recovered an INSAS rifle and 20 live cartridges from his house. This was looted by the miscreants from the police on the night of the incident.

“We have also recovered an AK-47 and 17 cartridges from the house of Vikas Dubey in Bikru village,” the ADG said.

The house was demolished by the police on July 4.

The ADG said that Shashikant had confessed to his involvement in the shootout in which eight policemen were killed on July 3 in Bikru village. The arrested criminal has also named the other accused in the crime.

The ADG said that of the 21 accused, four had been arrested, namely Shyamu Bajpai, Jahaan Yadav, Daya Shankar Agnihotri and now Shashikant.

He said that six of the accused, including Vikas Dubey, Amar Dubey, Prabhat Mishra, Bauan Dubey, Prem Prakash Pandey and Atul Dubey had been killed in encounters.

“Eleven of the accused are at large and will be arrested soon,” the official said.

The ADG refused to take any questions at the press conference and left abruptly.
