Sushant case: Bihar Police team returns to Patna from Mumbai

The four-member Bihar Police team which was in Mumbai to investigate the alleged suicide case of actor Sushant Singh Rajput returned to Patna on Thursday.

The team will submit its report to Patna’s Superintendent of Police Upendra Sharma.

The police team arrived at Patna Airport on Thursday afternoon.

However, they refused to speak to the media but said that despite the adverse circumstances they have collected whatever evidence they could lay their hands on in the case.

The Bihar Police team had gone to Mumbai on July 27 after Sushant Singh’s father K.K. Singh filed a complaint on July 25 at the Rajiv Nagar police station in Patna, against Sushant’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty.

After this, Patna city SP Vinay Tiwari was also sent to Mumbai. However, he was quarantined there and is yet to return.

Actor Ayushmann Khurrana balances brain and brawn in a new Instagram selfie he posted on Wednesday. While he strikes a shirtless pose on the social media handle, showing off a chiselled frame, he topped the impact with some original Urdu poetry.

“Agar tumhe mere fitoor aur fahem* ke darmiya ek ko chunna pade, toh tum fitoor ko chunna, kiyunki fahem toh vaisai bhi tumse dur rehhne ko kehta hai — Ayushmann *samajhdaari,” Ayushmann wrote as caption with his hunky snapshot.

The actor recently wrapped up the shoot of his upcoming film “Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui”. The love story is directed by Abhishek Kapoor and co-stars Vaani Kapoor, and was shot in Chandigarh over just 48 days amid the pandemic.

Meanwhile, Ayushmann recently announced his next film, a campus comedy drama titled Doctor G. The film will be directed by Anubhuti Kashyap.

Actor Manoj Bajpayee: ‘The Family Man 2’ an experience you won’t forget

Anticipation over the second season of The Family Man is running high, and lead actor Manoj Bajpayee promises the upcoming chapter will be an experience that is bigger and different.

Bajpayee returns as NIA agent Srikant Tiwari on season two. He struggles to balance personal and professional lives while fighting against a new nemesis, Raji, played by South star Samantha Akkineni.

“At times I reserve comments (about my work) because you start sounding flamboyant. All I would say is that it is going to be far bigger and far more different than before,” Bajpayee told IANS.

“It is going to be an experience that you will not forget easily,” he promised.

Besides Bajpayee, the show will bring back Priyamani, Sharib Hashmi, and Sharad Kelkar from season one. Created, directed and produced by Raj and DK, the show also features Darshan Kumar, Sunny Hinduja, Shreya Dhanwantary, Shahab Ali, Vedant Sinha, Mahek Thakur and Seema Biswas.

The series will see actors from the Tamil film world including Mime Gopi, Ravindra Vijay, Devadarshini Chetan, Anandsami and N. Alagamperumal in the cast too, when it comes drops on February 12.

Meanwhile, the actor hopes the advent of content-driven projects, triggered by OTT, continues to draw focus towards talent. Asked about the change he would want to see in the industry, Bajpayee replied: “I just want this industry to focus on talent.”

“Just focus on new talent that is coming in, with so ideas, integrity and passion. I think we should give priority to that,” said the actor, who recently joined stars like Saif Ali Khan, Samantha Akkineni, Tisca Chopra and Divya Dutta to discuss the future of the industry through Royal Stag Barrel Select Large Short Films Evening discussions.

Just-married actor Varun Dhawan on Wednesday tweeted his thanks to all, for their love and positivity shown towards him and his wife, fashion designer Natasha Dalal.

“The last few days me and Natasha have received so much love and positivity from everyone so just wanted to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart,” he wrote.

Varun got married to his childhood sweetheart Natasha at The Mansion House resort in Alibaug on Sunday. He opted for an intimate affair, rather than a big wedding owing to the ongoing pandemic. He got married in the presence of family members and close friends.

Since Sunday, the actor has been sharing various moments from the wedding on his Instagram.

He shared wedding pictures on social media, captioning the post: “Life long love just became official”.

In his latest post, he has shared a picture of Natasha’s mehendi ceremony where the actor can be seen planting a kiss on her cheek.
