Justin Bieber To Charge ₹83 Crore To Perform At Anant Ambani & Radhika Merchant’s Sangeet In Mumbai
Pop sensation Justin Bieber arrived in Mumbai in the wee hours of Thursday (July 4) as he is all set to perform at the pre-wedding festivities of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. According to several media reports, the singer will mesmerise the guests with his performance at the couple’s sangeet ceremony, which is scheduled to take place on July 5, Friday. Several Bollywood celebrities, businessmen, and others are expected to attend the pre-wedding festivities.
Bieber has returned to India after seven long years. For those unversed, he had announced a concert in India in 2022, however, it was later cancelled as his health had taken a hit. If media reports are to be believed, the singer has charged a whopping Rs 83 crore from the Ambanis to perform at the sangeet ceremony.
Reportedly, Bieber has charged more than international pop sensations like Rihanna, Beyonce, and Akon, who had also performed at the Ambani events earlier.
Rihanna, who performed at Anant and Radhika’s first pre-wedding bash in Jamnagar, reportedly charged Rs 74 crore whereas Akon charged around Rs 2 to 4 crore. Reports have stated that Shakira charged for Rs 10 to 15 crore for second pre-wedding bash and Katty Perry was paid Rs 45 crore for performing at the cruise bash.
Beyonce had performed at Isha Ambani and Anand Parimal’s wedding and, back then, she reportedly charged Rs 33 crore.
The sangeet ceremony of Anant and Radhika will be held in Mumbai at their palatial residence Antilia on July 5. The couple is set to tie the knot in a traditional and star-studded affair on July 12. Other singers who are expected to perform at the bash are Adele, Drake and Lana Del Rey.
Anant and Radhika hosted a lavish pre-wedding bash at Jamnagar earlier this year, where some of the biggest names were seen setting the stage on fire. Later, during their second pre-wedding bash on a cruise, stars like Katy Perry, Pitbull, The Backstreet Boys, and Italian opera artist Andrea Bocelli, entertained the guests.

Aamir Khan Talks About Possibility Of Working With Shah Rukh, Salman Khan: ‘We’ll Have To Wait For Right Script’
Aamir Khan, who was recently honoured at the Red Sea Film Festival in Saudi Arabia, has shared an exciting update about the possibility of uniting with Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan on screen. The actor confirmed that the three Khans had discussed the idea of working together on a film.
When asked about the possibility of the three Khans collaborating on a project, the ‘Ishq’ actor shared that about six months ago, he spoke to Shah Rukh and Salman about how great it would be if the three of them did a film together.
“About six months back, Shah Rukh, Salman, and I were together, and we did speak about this. I was the person who brought this up and told Shah Rukh and Salman that it would be really sad if the three of us didn’t do a film together. I think Salman and Shah Rukh were equally in agreement and were, ‘Yes, we must do a film together. The three of us.’ Hopefully, it will happen soon. It will need the right kind of story. So, we’ll have to wait for the right script. We are all looking forward to it,” shared the actor while speaking at the Red Sea Film Festival.
On the work front, Aamir Khan was last seen in the ‘Forrest Gump’ remake, ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’, which failed to connect with the audience. He has ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’ in the pipeline. Genelia will reportedly play a pivotal role in the film.
The Red Sea Film Festival, running from December 5 to 14, has been a celebration of global cinema, attracting filmmakers and actors from all corners of the world.
Alongside Aamir Khan, Bollywood star Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Hollywood stars such as Will Smith, Vin Diesel, and Spike Lee also attended the festival.

Pushpa 2: The Rule released in theatres on Thursday and it can be safely said that it has wreaked havoc at the box office. The film opened with a bang with Rs 175 crore on its first day, thus triumphing over the likes of Jawan, RRR and Baahubali by leaps and bounds.
According to reports, Pushpa 2 earned a whopping Rs 175.1 crore on its first day in India alone. While it minted Rs 165 crore nett in theatres, it made Rs 10.1 crore at the special Telugu previews on Wednesday night.
The pan-India film earned Rs 95.1 crore in Telugu, Rs 7 crore in Tamil, Rs 5 crore in Malayalam and Rs 1 crore in Kannada. It also became the biggest-ever opener in Hindi with Rs 67 crore on Thursday, overtaking Jawan that had earned Rs 65.50 crore.
While the makers and trade experts are yet to announce the global box office figures, if reports are to be believed, the film is poised to earn close to Rs 300 crore.
Theatres were rendered housefull not just in the southern belt but across India as Pushpa 2 released on Thursday. Fans thronged theatres and celebrated inside the cinema halls, and the entire mood was nothing short of a festival. At several places, fans were seen bursting firecrackers outside theatres and showering cutouts and posters of Allu Arjun with milk and flowers.
To add to it, the Andhra Pradesh government has also allowed the makers and theatre owners to hike the price of tickets in the state. “This progressive decision demonstrates your steadfast commitment to the growth and prosperity of the Telugu film industry,” Allu Arjun stated, thanking the government.
Pushpa 2 also stars Rashmika Mandanna as Srivalli and Fahadh Faasil as the antagonist. The film has been directed by Sukumar.

Pushpa 2 The Rule Review: Allu Arjun Reigns Supreme, Rashmika Mandanna & Fahadh Faasil Support With Gloriously Over-The-Top Performances
Title: Pushpa 2: The Rule
Director: B. Sukumar
Cast: Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, Jagapathi Babu, Dhananjaya, Rao Ramesh, Sunil, Anasuya Bharadwaj and others.
Where: In Theatres
Rating: 3.5 stars
Brace yourselves for a cinematic juggernaut where gravity isn’t just defied but utterly dismissed, and the ego is not merely bruised but gloriously worshipped. This film is the sequel to the 2021 blockbuster Pushpa: The Rise. It returns with a vengeance, promising not just a continuation of the saga but a leap into the stratosphere of South Indian mass cinema, where subtlety is but a quaint myth.
The film picks up where its predecessor left off—Pushpa Raj, essayed by the ever-charismatic Allu Arjun, has traded his local smuggling operations for an international playground. From the dense red sandalwood forests of Chittoor to global domination, Pushpa’s rise is nothing short of folklore-worthy. His awkward gait and signature hand gesture are back, more flamboyant than ever, as he bulldozes adversaries, systems, and, occasionally, logic itself.
Director Sukumar pulls out all the stops in delivering a spectacle that unapologetically caters to its target audience. The narrative blends action, drama, romance, and humour with the finesse of a curry where every spice screams for attention. The plot is delightfully absurd—Pushpa overthrows a Chief Minister because his wife Srivalli (Rashmika Mandanna) desires a photograph with the politician, halts an entire town to rescue his kidnapped niece, and schools a megalomaniacal IPS officer Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat (Fahadh Faasil) with gravity-defying stunts. Pushpa doesn’t merely fight; he performs physics-defying acrobatics with limbs tied and eyes obstructed, ensuring every punch lands as a metaphorical roar.
The dialogues are the kind that demand whistles and hoots, with lines like “Pushpa ka faisla mandir ka prasad jaisa hai…” or “Mai jhukhunga nahin sala,” ensuring they’ll echo in college canteens for years. Yet beneath the bombast lies a surprisingly resonant emotional arc. Pushpa’s journey is fuelled by a childhood scar—a bruised ego that morphs into his raison d’être. It’s this vulnerable core, exaggerated to a cinematic extreme, that holds the audience captive through the 200-minute marathon.
Performances are gloriously over the top, with Allu Arjun reigning supreme. His Pushpa is magnetic, maddening, and everything a mass hero is meant to be. Fahadh Faasil matches him beat for beat as his nemesis Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat, and their clash is a testosterone-charged spectacle. Rashmika Mandanna as Srivalli lends charm, though she often feels relegated to the sidelines, while the ensemble cast gamely contributes to the chaos.
Technically, the film is a marvel. Devi Sri Prasad’s music is a pulse-pounding delight, elevating every dramatic confrontation and choreographed brawl. Mirosław Kuba Brożek’s cinematography captures the glitz of Pushpa’s world with vivid, larger-than-life visuals. The VFX oscillates between dazzling and cartoonish, but it’s all in service of the spectacle.
For all its flaws—pacing that sags under its gargantuan runtime, a narrative that occasionally trades logic for lunacy, and a penchant for excess—it’s impossible to ignore the sheer magnetism of Pushpa 2. It’s indulgent, ridiculous, and thoroughly entertaining. The film concludes with a clear promise of more chapters to follow, and why not? In Pushpa’s world, the rise never ends—it merely finds new heights to conquer.
