In Mumbai Grant Road area under DB Marg Police Station A bar called KALPANA was raided by Anti- Narcotics DCP Shivdeep Lande. In a heavy duty raid DCP Lande found a cavity inside the bathroom of a Bar. Total 12 girls were recovered along with 18 customers and 9 Bar staff were charged under PITA. As per DCP Lande the cavity in the Bar is so small and suffocating that any person can not stand that even for Hour.

The bar owner were also charged under abetting suicide as the girls were kept under very undignified way in the 5×5 cavity. There were two cavities found in the Bar. The astonishing fact is that the Sr PI of DB Marg Police Station has been conferred with Rashtpati Awards and the DCP also has got police medal.

The question arises as to how the local Sr PI and Local DCP doesn’t know about the illegal operations of Bars with cavities and a DCP who has night charge raids the bar and digs-out every thing.

This clearly shows the ongoing nexus between local police and BarWalas which is going in Mumbai for years.

Kudos to DCP Shivdeep Lande for showing heavy hand in dealing with this corrupt practices which puts police in a dock always.

Minhaj, a native of Bharuch district of Gujarat, was hiding at his relative’s place near Ratanpur check post in Jalalpura Panwara area.

“Minhaj and one other of his aide Nasir of Haldwani, Uttarakhand had escaped from Shyamlaji town in Aravalli district of Gujarat on September 17, while Nadim, their third aide had been arrested,” said a spokesman of the Kannauj police.

As per wildlife experts, pangolin is protected under the Schedule I of the Wildlife Protection Act.

“Pangolins are in high demand for Chinese traditional medicine in southern China and Vietnam because their scales are believed to have medicinal properties. Their meat is also considered a delicacy. Nearly, 100,000 are estimated to be trafficked a year to China and Vietnam. This makes it the most trafficked animal in the world,” a wildlife expert said.

In 2016, international commercial trade in pangolins was banned as it turned into a threat to its survival.
