Actor Abhishek Bachchan tests Covid negative, discharged from hospital
Abhishek Bachchan tests negative for COVID-19.
Abhishek Bachchan has tested negative for Covid-19 and has been discharged from hospital, the actor revealed on his verified Twitter and Instagram accounts on Saturday afternoon.
“A promise is a promise! This afternoon I tested Covid-19 NEGATIVE!!! I told you guys I’d beat this.thank you all for your prayers for me and my family. My eternal gratitude to the doctors and nursing staff at Nanavati hospital for all that they have done. THANK YOU!” tweeted @juniorbachchan on his blue-tick Twitter handle.
Shortly after that Abhishek posted a picture on Instagram of the “care board” that was maintained on his behalf at the hospital. On the board, the “Discharge Plan” column says, “Yes”.
As a caption he wrote on Instagram: “I TOLD YOU!!! Discharge plan: YES!! This afternoon I tested Covid-19 NEGATIVE. Thank you all for your prayers and wishes. I’m so happy to be able to go home. #believe My eternal gratitude to the doctors and nursing staff at Nanavati Hospital for taking such good care of me and my family and helping us beat Covid-19. We couldn’t have done it without them.”
Abhishek, along with his father Amitabh Bachchan was hospitalised with Covid-19 in July. On August 2, Big B was discharged but Abhishek continues to be in the hospital.
The Akhil Bhartiya Akhara Parishad (ABAP) has said that there was no question of pardoning the makers of ‘Tandav’ web series unless all Muslim actors and directors submit affidavits that they will not insult and ridicule Hindu Gods and goddesses.
In a video message, ABAP chairman Mahant Narendra Giri said that the apology from the team of “Tandav” was meaningless since it came only after Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath took a serious note of the matter and the FIR was registered.
“The police have reached Mumbai and then comes the apology. If these actors and directors belonging to a particular community are truly repentant, they should give affidavits saying that they will not insult the Sanatan Dharma and Hidnu deities,” he said.

Produced under the banner of Lone Ranger by Vikram Bhatt and Krishna Bhatt. The 10-episode series also stars Sonnalli Seygall. The series is currently being shot in Mumbai and is set to release on MX player.

In the image, the actor is seen sitting on a sofa dressed in a mustard-hued T-shirt, paired with a baseball cap.
“Turn around daze,” Vicky captioned the image.
The National Award-winning star was last seen in the horror film “Bhoot Part One: The Haunted Ship”. He is currently busy with Shoojit Sircar’s “Sardar Udham Singh”, where he plays the titular revolutionary.
Vicky will also be seen sharing screen space with former beauty queen Manushi Chhillar in an untitled project.
